They're pretty terrible for energy conservation, but there's something about this kind of window that I love. Somehow it makes me nostalgic for something I don't remember having to begin with. Weird. via 500px ift.tt/2AGV5PT
As The Great Scavenger Meetup Pt 2 approaches, I thought it would be cool to show (or remind) you that our fellow Scavengers are fabulous and beautiful subjects for portraits, just in case you didn't know!! Today: Sivani Boxall! via 500px ift.tt/2yu9qgT
Yup, this is the post Scavenger Meetup outlook on things. Usually takes a bit to get things back in focus. via 500px ift.tt/2xTaiI4
It was cold, but it was quite nice driving to Sylvan Lake yesterday morning in the light fog. via 500px ift.tt/2G83Fq4
Wow, I can't believe that it's two years since I photographed this terrific young lady. I'm pretty sure there should be a "do over" at some point..... Just my opinion.
Here's another single shot of the Hatteras Lighthouse. I had to make quick work of shooting here because the clouds were moving in fast. I only had about 20-30 minutes of time to shoot the milky way before the clouds moved in. This lighthouse is pretty awesome though. It's so worth the drive out there if you are ever in the outer banks North Carolina. The grounds are very nice for shooting too. This might actually turn into my new desktop picture.
I used....

They're a solid six hour drive away, and that's in the summer. So we're always happy when Kal and Lauren bring Mieke for a visit!! Granddaughters are pretty cool. via 500px ift.tt/2Eaes2k
Another beauty from Cana Island in Door County Wisconsin. Such an absolutely incredible place. I have a Lume Cube camera right lighting up the entire lighthouse and the beautiful skies and lighthouse did the rest.
