I have been waiting to put this timelapse together for quite some time now but was slightly limited by my old computer. I am so happy to finally be able to share these with you all. To me, astrophotography and timelapses are such an incredible thing. It's so peaceful and amazing sitting outside in the dark watching the beautiful night sky pass by over head. I can't even believe some of the stuff I have captured under the night sky's. I really can't thank some of you guys enough for the information you guys have learned and shared along the way. That has helped me immensely with my creativity as well. This is a compilation of most all new timelapses that I have not shared yet. So I really hope you all enjoy my latest work.
I have reduced the amount of motion I am using mainly because I am wanting to create star trails with my images as well. I can't make startrails with my images if I have my camera running on my slider. But, I will still do them in the future. ;)

In an exceedinly rare moment of seriousness, which must have lasted one, maybe two nanoseconds. I think he was actually just trying to remember if he was still awake..... via 500px ift.tt/2yfQPBy
I have a shoot coming up on Thursday and wanted to try a wider aperture (this is at f/1.4, and my remote focus is a bit off). Problem is, I also want the light pretty close to keep it softer using about a 42" octabox. I could go farther back if I had a big scrim, but I don't. With the strobe this close, it's too bright even at minimum power. Then I remembered that I do have an ND filter. Going to take some tweaking but this just might be doable. via 500px ift.tt/2Ek8DPm
I complain about the traffic, the same as everyone. Then I remember what the traffic was like in Calgary, Vancouver, Toronto, when I lived there. Then I quit complaining about the traffic. via 500px ift.tt/2EqZQM4
No strobe, natural light, naturally beautiful. What can I say. A bit of Agfacolor toning in Exposure 3. via 500px ift.tt/2D4daVv

Headshot portraiture from The Great Scavenger Meetup 2017 While posting the image of Sam, I also have to take a moment to express my sincere thanks and gratitude to her for the amazing help she provided that enabled me to teach my class in Vegas and that resulted in the images of all of these Scavengers. Sam brought strobes, triggers, modifiers, stands, a projector, and her awesome self to this, and I absolutely could not have done any of this without her. Travelling internationally with all that stuff is a nightmare, Sam stepped up and offered her gear for me to use, and her help in setting up and tearing down. I know that bringing everything out was very stressful for her and I thank her from the bottom of my heart for making this happen. Love you much, young lady!! via 500px ift.tt/2Ce5i6j
