On the other hand, there weren't a lot of liquor stores around during Prohibition. Except for Uncle Ned's basement or something. via 500px ift.tt/2DjI4fs
Here's another single shot of the Hatteras Lighthouse. I had to make quick work of shooting here because the clouds were moving in fast. I only had about 20-30 minutes of time to shoot the milky way before the clouds moved in. This lighthouse is pretty awesome though. It's so worth the drive out there if you are ever in the outer banks North Carolina. The grounds are very nice for shooting too. This might actually turn into my new desktop picture.

2x Lume Cubes with light-houses, a gel and a diffuser to light the base better.
50mm, f/2.0, 1/60, using just the modelling lights. And still, those eyes! And just by the way, the larger this is viewed, the more amazing! I might be biased..... via 500px ift.tt/2mQZDta
It's almost entirely steam, and when it's this visible..... yeah, it's cold. via 500px ift.tt/2zpHzzt
Shooting bubbles out in the frozen climate somehow apparently makes it not seem so cold out. It was like 3 degrees f out and I was out for almost a hour shooting.

Here's a little something a couple friends and I took last night. This is Devils Doorway at Devils Lake Wisconsin. It's about a mile hike, basically straight up to get here. It was hot and humid but well worth the trip and effort. I weighed my camera bag today and it weigh 33.5 lbs. I thought I was packing light too...guess not so much. LOL
Gear used:
Lit by a single Lume Cube with a Light-House and a warming gel camera left.
