Saw these canoes just waiting for someone to take them out on the lake on Two Medicine Lake in Glacier National Park. If we hadn't been scheduled to take a boat trip already, I would have gladly paddled these around the lake on this beautiful August afternoon.
It used for fishing by the Yami people of Lanyu , each colorful canoe is handcrafted with multiple pieces of wood.

Portsmouth and District Model Power Boat Club (P.D.M.P.B.C) is one of the oldest clubs in UK, and was founded in 1909. It was originally called the Portsmouth Model Steam Boat Club, and they are based at Canoe Lake, Southsea, Hampshire.
Compositionally Challenged: Monthly challenge - ways to keep cool. This canoe was a challenge in itself and it was never-ending, hair-raising drama (can you see how wet my footwear is?). But it was very nice to be out on the water again. I am very much a 'water baby'. I took this with my GoPro. I held it in the same hand as the paddle and set it to take bursts of photos and I also took some videos. This photo has not been processed in any way (well, I rotated it!). I took it on 13 August just before sunset. On the left-hand side you can see what looks like mist. It's not. There was no wind all week and this is what it looked like in the evenings - it's smoke from the campfires, from the campsites. Dinner time. Gurd Lake, Grundy Lake Provincial Park, Canada.
The new riverwalk on the Chicago River is nearly complete and people were quick to head out there to feel it out for themselves. It's gorgeous — and packed! Canoers stop for a quick explanation of the buildings.

this is a white beach / station 1 sunset view. i was lucky enough to get this shot without anyone walking into the frame. this is not an hdr image just some adjustments in photoshop.

todays sunrise !!
Day 5 of the 7 day sunrise challenge and im stuffed !! Will i make it 2 more days ??? its raining atm so maybe i will not get to complete my sunrise challenge . Fingers crossed it clears by 530am.
