During our evening paddle on Canada Day over Lake Louisa there was impressive clouds that we stopped to view and focus on as a guided image for future canoeing.
The Tshiuetin is now on home rails at Emiril Junction, about 250 miles inland from Sept-Iles at one of two locations where this route crosses a highway.
Adventurers are unloading canoes; a bus waits to pick up a tour group that will be checking out the nearby mines.
Calm shores and canoes lined up along shore waiting for a paddle. Not sure if I like this view or the horizontal orientation better.
I covered the Big Island Interscholastic Federation 5-mile canoe races for West Hawaii Today newspaper on Saturday. This was not one of the photos I submitted for publication.

I was positioned on a boat in open ocean.
we were camping at Bottomless Lake State Park in New Mexico with Boy Scouts and while the scouts were cooking dinner, I ran over to the lake to take pictures of the sunset. There was a couple who were canoeing there and it made for a great picture.
Kodomo no Kuni (Children's Country) is quite a place to visit/play. Could easily spend days there and still not fully explore everything.

As I was looking through old photos I'd taken I started to look at the negatives instead of my prints and found there were a large number I didn't have prints of (or gave away). Makes me wonder how many other shots I have that I have forgotten about. Probably taken during high school years in the mid-90s
These were shot at an Explorer canoe race held in north central Arkansas along the White River.
Tim went back to work at the beginning of August, but we wanted to enjoy his last days away from the warehouse. JJ had already gone to his new office, so the two of us took a picnic to the Canoe Lake.

It used for fishing by the Yami people of Lanyu , each colorful canoe is handcrafted with multiple pieces of wood.

Solo canoeist returning from an evening of fishing along the French Creek shoreline (Salish Sea); the canoe adds perspective to the size of the breakwater. Solid little marina, well protected.
Newcastle's Canoe Pool adjoins the Ocean Baths on a rocky promontory at the eastern end of the city. Despite years of neglect, it remains a favoured seaside attraction for families with small kids.

Westie dad taking his pups for a canoe adventure on a beautiful lake
Prompt: A heartwarming Pixar-style 3D digital fine art of a beautiful calm lake at sunset, surrounded by lush pine forests and majestic mountains.
