Not sure that I will make it to Yellowstone before the rut is over with this year. I am in the process of trying to sell what is left of my belongings - bedroom set, desk, couch and miscellaneous - so that I can purchase a new camera and hopefully a new monitor. Wish that I would have thought to do this when first arriving in Coeur d'Alene but it took awhile to make the decision. Without a camera my journey is useless and right now I am throwing money away on storage fees so it should have been a no brainer but my brain has been preoccupied with grandchildren lately. So, I might try and stay here until my Yellowstone cabin is available and some of my ducks are in a row, rather than pull the trailer down there for two weeks and then have to find a place to store it for the winter. One more week of taking care of the kids and then daddy will be home from working out of state. And my youngest grandson will be one. This has been quite a busy ride and I'm glad to have not missed this time. In the meantime I am not having much time to edit or anything else on the computer. Good! I needed a break from sitting in this indented spot on the bench cushion in my trailer and staring at this crappy monitor! That is the bright side.

Twelfth Doctor. Avon Calling
I've used Photoshop to pay tribute to range of Doctor Who Target range of novels which were a big part of my childhood. These covers represent a cross over between Doctor Who and other popular shows and films across the eras.
The 12th Doctor, Davros and the Crew of the Liberator.
Well, that was dumb.
According to my doctor, Dr. WebMD, I think I tore the meniscus in my left knee.
And to prove how lame I am, I don't even know how or when I did it. I have my suspicion though.
I think I did it on a treadmill. A TREADMILL.
You're not supposed to hurt yourself on a treadmill.
Call me a rebel.
What makes this even more ridiculous though is that the only reason I was on the treadmill to begin with is because I was being a wimp about my hands.
I know, I'm pathetic.
I mean, I'm a badass - with wimpy hands.
I recently discovered kettlebells. I also recently discovered how they can trash your hands.
Especially dainty hands like mine.
So while I was toughening up / healing my hands so I can kill it at kettlebells, I hurt my knee. On a treadmill.
If there's a bright side to this, it's that Dr. WebMD suggests that my (presumed) treadmill injury is only a 'minor' tear and shouldn't take long to heal. Probably just long enough for my hard-earned hand calluses to peel off, but…
Oh, who am I kidding? AT LEAST I GO TO THE GYM.
So there.
I might be a wimp, but I go. And in the grand scheme of things, I think I'd rather have some lame-ass treadmill injury than something more serious. I think. If not, I'm sure I'll let everyone know.
