The Bad Boys from Boston, American rockers Aerosmith headlined the first of two nights of the Calling Festival newly relocated to South London’s Clapham Common.
The Steven Tyler-led rockers brought their unique blend of entertaining rock to a damp London evening, re-energising the sodden crowd with a mixed set drawn from their extensive back catalogue as well a cover of The Beatles 1969 hit Come Together. They began the 18-song set with Mama Kin from their 1973 eponymous debut album before moving onto Get a Grip hit Eat the Rich and Pump classing Love in an Elevator.
Hits Walk This Way and Dude (Looks Like a Lady) also featured before the encore was opened with classic Dream On featuring Tyler playing piano and Joe Perry playing guitar … on the piano!
It’s surprising just how much energy the 66-year-old Tyler and 63-year-old Perry convey up on stage with such engaging performances and on-stage hijinks that kept the crowd enthralled from the outset until the closing bars of Toys in the Attic classic Sweet Emotion.

This is a species I've always had trouble photographing. For some reason, some species are really hard to get the right focus, and their light colour means that they can be easily over-exposed.
Tyler's Tree Frog (Litoria tyleri) is a close relative of Peron's Tree Frog (Litoria peronii). They have a very different call, and often call around the same water body at the same time, which is not something you normally see in closely related species.

The name of it is Calling. The person in the image is making the sign of the cross on the chest.
I have always found it strange that she made the cross on her front and back reverse. In the case of the Christian crucifix the Upside Down Cross is represented as a sign of anti christ, and not necessarily Satanism; merely a denonciation of the Christian belief system.
In Satanism the Upside Down Cross Symbolizes mockery and rejection of Jesus.
Last spotted at East Midlands Airport, Kilo Zulu has a habit of following me around as it arrives at Birmingham having completed its flight from Dublin.
Of late, Ryanair has been trying to reposition itself as a low-cost airline you want to fly, with a number of adverts being placed to try and get the company back into profit. It still has a way to go until passengers are really convinced about the changes.
The location here is from Marston Green railway station, taken from the foot bridge as a good vantage point to get side-on images, good for landings and probably a good location for take-offs heading to the north.

Trooper Dog put handcuffs on Creedo Crocodile (a standard procedure in the Fabuland Police Force) and started reporting the situation on his radio. Creedo was looking positively devastetad. ”I have the purp in custody... Yes, backup need...” Trooper Dog looked at Creedo and saw how sorry he looked. Dog felt the crime wasn't that serious. He himself was very fond of art. ”Strike that”, Trooper Dog said. ”I need an ambulance on my position. Yes, ASAP.” ”Vehicle malfunction – one injured”, Trooper Dog said as Creedo looked in amazement. ”Maybe get a canvas the next time creativity strikes”,Trooper Dog said taking off the handcuffs. Creedo was dumbfounded.
