This was taken a few moments later as the Puffin called out. The sound a Puffin makes when calling is hard to describe so I thought it may be easier to add a link to a Puffin calling sound clip.
On the side of the building at 29th Ave. S. & East Lake Street, there's an interesting mural of jazz musicians. Puts me in mind of the be-bop greats--Bird, Miles, Coltrane, and of course the father of them all, Monk.

So I think im liking black and white photos these days haha.
I was lke in a private forest so some bodyguards started like asking me lots of question it was a little bit weird.
I just threw flour all over there, I had a blast to be honest.
It was a fun photoshoot for me.
I enjoy it a lot.
I woke up at 5 (lie) Thats what I told my mom.
Truth is I never slept from yesterday to today.

Day 115
On what looks to be a fairly relaxed shaift, and long before the dawn of the digital age, a Lancashire Constabulary sergeant transmits to radio equipped patrols from the local control room based at Leigh Police Station.
The rack on the wall behind holds some of the ‘handheld’ portable radio sets available to officers of the time.
Though notoriously unreliable and plagued by bad reception in the early days, the widespread deployment of radio marked a great leap forward in police communications and ultimately brought about the demise of the iconic police whistle.
The collection of the Greater Manchester Police Museum and Archive which is currently being digitised, has produced a series of marvellously evocative images of policing in the past.
The latest gems to be unearthed are a series of images taken in and around Leigh during, we originally thought, the early 1970s. However sharp-eyed viewers have pointed out that they are more likely to be the late 1960s.
They come from a set of images labelled Lancashire County Constabulary Training Slides and depict various officers on patrol in the town centre, at work in the police station or undertaking a variety of other duties.
We hope you enjoy this glimpse of bygone Leigh. We will be publishing further images from this series in the near future.
For further images from this series please see the Lancashire County Police Training set

You really can't say, Las Vegas is a beautiful city, but it is definitely impressive....
i shot these photos a while ago, and blended them all later into one in post. but, i am quite pleased with how this turned out.
in addition, it's midterm week. so, i'm stressing. a lot. but i know that they'll be all over in about a week, so that's definitely something to look forward to! :) anyways, have a wonderful rest of the week you guys! :)
Shot this while waiting for our son to get out of school. Zoomed in as much as I could. Loved the look of the branches. Got 2 shots, then he was gone. Did this in b&w but thought the softness of the colors were a better fit for this.
On Saturday 29-08-15 319 435 calls at Harlington with the 10:40 2W31 Bedford - Three Bridges service.
"The Lur (a trumpet made from brass or wood) has a long history in the Nordic. The Lur trumpets of Bronze have been used since the Bronze Age in the Nordic areas. A wooden Lur was found in the Oseberg Viking Ship Mound that dates back to about 834 CE. It was commonly used for signaling and calling animals"
Taken under The Bergen International Festival

Very common in the Dales and are often seen with their young by the road.
