Rob: Sam's just mad because he can't drive another eighteen hours to Massachusetts to surprise Lizzie on Valentine's Day.
Me: I suppose he could just drive to Northhampton and call her and be like "Guess what? Looks like I love you as much if not more than Rob loves Ali."
Sam: I would drive the extra mile to Amherst just to prove the point.

There are a lot of shots that I like more than this one. But I have to admit that this one has all my characteristics.
Shot suddenly and on the fly while walking down a Dublin street in improbable sunshine. (Okay. So I'm not always walking down Dublin streets. But I'm often shooting suddenly and on the fly.)
Plus a little bit of architecture.
A little bit of decay.
A certain sort of symmetry & a smidge of geometry.
And a whole lot of blue sky.

My main way of communicating by phone, text, FaceTime, email and the internet is my iPhone 6 Plus, which I have to confess I really love!! That's sick, I know but I do!! Although, I don't use it for my time on Flickr!!

Rumor has it that a raven named Elvis lives in North Cascades National Park along State Route 20.
Couldn't tell if this is Elvis or not but he sure is enjoying his time among the visitors at the Diablo Lake Overlook.

Kellie was such a trooper for the day. She came with us to the ride to see us off in the morning and then sat ALL DAY waiting for us to finish. Here, I'm calling her to tell her where we are and how much longer I expect we'll be. Thinking that we would average 12 miles an hour, even with rest stops (and that's even slow), I told her before the ride we'd be done between 1 and 2pm. Wrong-o I was!! It's 11:30am at this point, we're just now having lunch, we've been on the road for 3 1/2 hours, and we're not even halfway finished with the ride. I felt really bad that she was going to have to sit there way longer than we thought. But she did end up leaving & getting lunch, and she had my camera, so she was busy taking all kinds of pictures! That girl never gets bored. That's one of the things I love about her. :)
The Cinderella Classic is a 65 mile all-women's bike ride.
