I always love the call of these Terns.

Kingsdown.

The tarmac laying past the LTT nest only took one day but initially I thought the worse as I had been watching the nest for 10-15 minutes with no sign of them. Then I heard them calling. One arrived carrying a number of feathers - I have no idea how it could see.

It went to the nest and a couple of minutes later came out. A minute or so after that the second came out. I can only assume one was in the nest the whole time.

Whilst waiting I took a closer look at the nest using my bins. It looks pretty complete and is in fact only about 1.5 ft into the bush. The rollers must have brushed against the bush when rolling the tarmac.

Metro-Cammell action at Gateshead (formerly East) station. A pair of twin sets, E56367 leading, arrive from Middlesbrough on 10 May 1980. The decrepit station closed in November 1981, replaced by that for the Tyne & Wear Metro.

I haven't submitted it yet; I am hoping to paint a couple more first. ATC cards are being sold for $10 each on ripple. The entire amount is donated to one of two non-profit organizations instrumental in helping with wildlife in the gulf.

"Take a Trip out to the Beach

Let the Sunshine in your Heart

Makes you feel good

Makes you smile

Be free and let your self go

Take a look up to the Stars

They are shining bright tonight

Makes you feel good

Makes you smile

Makes you feel

Like flying away

The Summer is calling your Name

And it feels and it feels like in Heaven"

How cool to see so many different wrens recently. Getting better shots of wrens I have already seen, Rock Wren, Canyon Wren and Marsh Wren. Then, finally seeing the tiny Pacific Wren (finally) for the first time!

For fun, I looked online to see what a group of wrens were called and it said 'herd' or 'chime'. While they obviously aren't flocking together, I am calling them a chime for the purpose of this series.

I am working on catching the birds in action rather than just looking pretty, pretty hard to do. Jays are beautiful members of the crow family! Thanks for all your wonderful comments and faves!!

This Hooded Merganser drake was really entertaining. The entire time I watched him, his hood was completely extended. Every now and again, he would extend and retract his neck, and there would be a visible bulge before he let out a resonating call that made his jaw vibrate, here is a shot of him in action. Two other photos below. North Pond in Chicago.

Taken on my recent trip to Assisi, i didn't get to see that many locals out and about even early in the morning.

Not my best walker, perhaps, but it shows off my new Space Police 1 astronaut.

I'm calling it the "Lobo" walker.

“Calling Home” describes it well. Thankfully, it’s not me who’s in this popularized picture.

But I’m curious to explore more. Taken in the streets of New York when my husband was visiting with relatives and families, because of a nephew’s wedding.

His eye for 3D effect never loses sight for city life. And his photography speaks well of what he does. Street photography comes alive in particular aspects of lighting, angles, 3D effects on shot explorations. You’ve got to venture on ‘floating effects’...whatever that is. But, sounds effective and worth exploring and finding out. www.bubblews.com/news/1527864-explore-street-photography-...
