The Wellington Cable Car is a funicular railway in Wellington, New Zealand, between Lambton Quay, the main shopping street, and Kelburn, a suburb in the hills overlooking the central city, rising 120 m over a length of 612 m. The one way trip takes approximately five minutes.
Only 275KV.
I've touched double that and came to no harm, just got a slight tingle. I was just about to prove that to a group of school children in a physics class when I suddenly woke up.

Inside this sheath, there are 50 to 70 epoxy-coated steel strands. I believe there are 20 cable stays in all.

Cable cars lifting passengers from Vivo City to Sentosa Island, our next stop for our trip. We didn't get to ride these though. Instead, we took the monorail from Vivo to Sentosa.
- I thought that this photo would exemplify environment nicely as, even
though the vastness of San Francisco is clearly visible, the inside
environment of the cable car was extremely cramped. We had about 40 people
in a single car moving up and down the steep hills of SF.

YAB was invited to go down to Idiosynphonic's event at Cable. The night was amazing, Document One, Skism and FuntCase played on the night. Unfortunately, I left early because of work the following day, but If you were there before 1:30am, you might be in the pictures!
Cable lift at 150 ft high in Camp Sabros, Kapatagan, Davao del Sur. A one-way ride takes about 5 minutes.
A coffee stop on my bus trip to Victoria - the building on the right is the "Cable Cafe", which is a steel frame with dirty great steel cable wrapped around it for walls.
This cardigan started as a couple of pieces of unfinished jumper given to me by a friend. I took the cables that she started and twisted them up into my own design. I finished it just in time to be worn in the damp, muddy mountains of France.
