The Cable Street Mural is a large mural painting in the East End of London. It was painted by Dave Binnington Savage, Paul Butler, Ray Walker and Desmond Rochfort between 1979 and 1983 to commemorate the Battle of Cable Street in 1936.
The Battle of Cable Street took place on Sunday 4 October 1936 in Cable Street, as a result of a march by the British Union of Fascists led by Oswald Mosley. Anti-fascist protesters, including local Jewish, socialist, anarchist, Irish and communist groups, clashed with the Metropolitan Police, who attempted to remove the barricades erected to stop the march.
Our DVI-D M to DVI-D M cable is the perfect cable for connecting to DVI devices such as a PC monitor or a TFT/LCD TV. It has ferrite coils to cut out high frequency vibration noises and thumb screws to make sure it is held securely in place.
It will
support resolutions up to 1920 x 1200
. Extracting the best possible visual results from your devices.
Note the cable exit is drilled with a 3mm drill on the joint between the assemblies., just behind centre at the top. If you drill through the body you will have to desolder elements to pass cables and the boom through the holes
Cable Installation
As part of the installation of an offshore wind facility, a cable must be installed to bring the electricity to shore. A special cable laying ship is used. In this case, the method of installation is called jet plowing, where a high pressure stream of water is used to suspend sediments in a channel. The cable is laid into the trench of suspended sediment. The sediment settles in on top of the cable, thus burying it. The cable is brought to shore and connected to the grid.
You can learn more about the cable laying here: Observing Cable Laying and Particle Settlement During the Construction of the Block Island Wind Farm
