20 minutes ... cable plug casing is starting to show heat. After a visual inspection, I'm going to swap cables tomorrow. I suspect arced connectors inside the cable plug, but the problem could also be internal to the power controller system.

Heading back up the streets of San Fransisco, towards the Powell and Market station - the conclusion of a busy day of being a tourist.
This is the free Cable Panel Vest pattern from the Lion Brand Yarn website made using Amazing Yarn in the Wildflower #203 colorway. I used 4 balls of yarn and size US7/4.5mm and US8/5mm needles. This vest was so fun to make and easy to pick up while on the train. The colors in the yarn are absolutely gorgeous. The price is nice too! The only change I made was to have the collar join in the center back rather than the shoulder side. I would definitely make this vest again.
The roll of cable was identified as being railway cabling, with the label suggesting it was destined for the the London Underground tube lines.
Sections of cable were vandalized and stolen from the A line south of Howard Beach late in the evening of Tue., May 26, 2015. The 2300 A from Far Rockaway to 207 St. lost power.
