Fresno State general viticulture 101 students harvested Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and recorded yield data in the campus vineyard as part of a yield mapping experiment. Students were assigned equidistant points on a fishnet grid, and counted numbers of plants and clusters to decide the yield for a certain vine and determining variability. It was the first time that exercised was conducted by the class in the vineyard by new faculty member Dr. Luca Brillante and will allow for comparisons in the future. I used a cup of this in my Chorizo sausage recipe tonight..The rest, naturally went to the chef..LOL
$3.49 though it was, this wine was surprisingly good. I used it to cook with and it was the best that dish has ever turned out.
