Fresno State general viticulture 101 students harvested Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and recorded yield data in the campus vineyard as part of a yield mapping experiment. Students were assigned equidistant points on a fishnet grid, and counted numbers of plants and clusters to decide the yield for a certain vine and determining variability. It was the first time that exercised was conducted by the class in the vineyard by new faculty member Dr. Luca Brillante and will allow for comparisons in the future. This is the best cabernet I've ever had. Got it in a hole-in-the-wall restaurant in New York City (Westville East). Can't find it for sale anywhere else, but it's incredibly inexpensive.

Clean, crisp, hint of sweet, dry like a spring day. Perfect plate for our foods.
