CN 346 rolls south past the pond with CN and BC Rail C40-8Ms. Canadian National has recently sidelined the old cowl units and put them up for auction/scrap.
With no takers, these distinctive Dash Eights will no doubt be scrapped. It was nice while it lasted.

In spring this year while on a walk i saw this young persons jacket which i presumed they somehow forgot . It really caught my attention dancing in the gusts of wind, so i stopped to enjoy the show with a child like wonder that this performance bought up in me. Eventually i took some photos and this one was my favorite and i recently decided to use it as my last image of the year as it seemed to say goodbye to me.

Just a quick shot from my way to work this morning... the number of tourists has decreased, I have the bike path along the lake for myself in the mornings now, and I have to admit that I enjoy that a lot :-)
A little girl and I presumed her Grandma were waiting for this plane to leave. The plane looks close from the telephoto as I was well back in a cafe sipping coffee. A lucky shot as the plane was close to take-off speed. The girl was there but gave a better wave a bit earlier.
What an amazing last view at Torres del Paine. It's been 5 days of incredible beauty and a lot of fun and good moments with 2 of my brothers and other hikers we've met on the trails.
