After all the rains we got of late, our Railyard park is lush, green with taller plants and grass that along the trails come up as high as my hip. These bumble bees seem meticulously buzz from one blossom to the very next, such a joy to observe.

This cake was requested by a young man who turned 5, it was chocolate mudcake covered in coloured piped buttercream with fondant accents, it was accompanied by 30 matching cupcakes in green and purple, I knew it was a hit because if you blinked you missed it as it was consumed by the hungry hoards lol

Well, I had hoped to try some more ideas for forced perspective (although coming up with ideas was challenging!!!) but as usual ran out of time. I am choosing this one for my submission because I think it has the best focus on both Buzz and the moon (although Buzz is still a bit oof), and because his expression makes me laugh.
C.S. (Buzz) Holling, celebrated ecologist who first introduced the concept of resilience in ecological systems to describe their ability to resist and recover from natural and man-made disturbances and is renowned for his work on ecosystem and social dynamics.
