The biggest button Mushroom I've ever seen. Compare with my hand holding it and the regular ones in the background. My hand is about 4'(10cm) over the basket with the rest of the mushrooms.

My dad took this picture for me, before I had my own light box. The ceramic 'button bucket' was my grandma's as well as the vintage sewing stuff and goldtone thimble/scissor necklace. The buttons on the left are hand cast resin (by me) and the ones on the right are vintage.

I LURV military insignia (wrote a post about it a little while ago), so I LURV that the Alexandria Legwarmers have 2 of these old-looking silver buttons. They match the warmth of the yarn colors pretty well.

While rummaging in my button stash looking for some hoops to make Dorset Buttons, I found this lovely box.

These are cobbled together using the vintage ladies gloves pattern and other ideas I came up with. The wool was recycled and is definitely wool and just a little on this side of itchy. But they do look good.

I'm playing around with different materials to use with my buttons. Glass is my new favorite!

Sold - Thank you

Made by me and pictured in a customers house :)

camera batteries died before I could experiment with this light... and concept more... used build in flash and a piece of looseleaf... also I'm aware of the terrible framing but I still like this falling button... tried holding two in my eyes like monacles but the facial expression was horrific haha. and they fell out... hence the falling button.

My button came in today from Buttonhead.org. For all you persistant 365days-ers out there, look into getting one. Great little keepsake to remind me of the trip.

Thanks to Steph for the heads up about them :)
