leaned how to sew buttons using my machine today, so I could add the button embellishments to this tote. I think they really add.
These earrings are made from five pairs of buttons. Each button is attached to a silver plated chain, causing a cute bunched dangle with lots of movement!
I traded this pair of earrings for a gorgeous dragonfly bracelet from Shayster61 (from Etsy).
This delicate cardigan features interesting construction. Hip panel is worked first, sideways, with short rows for shaping. Body of cardigan is picked up and knit from this piece and worked up seamlessly, raglan style. Cardigan also features a skinny braided cable in the raglan decreases and across top of hip panel.
Button Bear... made my charlie bears... here he is sitting with his hero's 1/2 scale replica helmet...
Jenson loved meeting Karen's button bear... it was the first time he'd actually seen it for real... -and he now owns one too :)
These are cobbled together using the vintage ladies gloves pattern and other ideas I came up with. The wool was recycled and is definitely wool and just a little on this side of itchy. But they do look good.
