My submission for the #MacroMondays group pool with the theme of #Button. Paul Daniels might have liked my magic trick, but not a lot!..

Tiny heart button.

Macro Mondays - Button

For "Smile on Saturday" ; theme : "infinity symbol".

I never noticed, until I took this photo, that the clothing company Lands' End has this motto: "SUSTAINABILITY". That's a lot to fit on a button, along with a lighthouse too! Do their clothes last? From my purchases: Yes!

photo size: 1.7 in square, 4.3 cm square

Theme: "Behold the Button"

What a good horse! For those of you who don't know what that is and want to change my title....A push-button ride is very forgiving of mistakes, will do something you are trying to ask even if your riding is very inaccurate, In other words, uncomplicated to ride... the type that most people like. No one gets rid of horses like this as they're priceless. It's just too bad men don't come in that feature :) Ha!

"Looking close... on Friday!" and "minimalism on black background"

Here, a terrible storm and thunder is just beginning, so I will look tomorrow morning for your contributions on the given theme. (If I don't die of fear tonight 😄)

Have a wonderful day and week, everyone! 😊

It's the bottom three buttons on a vintage, 12-button Touch-Tone telephone, along with the earpiece end of the handset. Yes, it still works; I have it on my desk in my office. :-)

Happy Macro Mondays

Feliz lunes a todos

HMM!!

(11/366) I don't own many clothes that have buttons (I usually wear Tshirts & zip up hoodies not blouses) but my one "decent" pair of jeans does have a button. First time I've actually noticed what it looks like, funny how you have stuff around you all the time but don't actually "see" it. HMM!

Happy valentine's day -- button heart love ;-0

Shutter release button of a Russian made Zenit-E camera. Over 12 million of these cameras were made between 1967 and 1969. Very simple sturdy design based on the principle "if it isn't there, then it can't go wrong".

Many thanks for all views, fav's - and particularly comments - all are greatly appreciated!

Happy Macro Mondays to you all!

AKA bachelor's button. Pretty sure that's what it is -

Macro Monday's and the theme of "Button".

I spent a while trying to come up with something for this theme and eventually found one of my son's denim shirts and I quite like this one because I noticed on the breast pocket not only the button but also a motif. Also the different colours were interesting from the yellow Eagle, the Orange stitching and of course the blue shirt.

Here I placed the shirt on a small table and suspended my camera over the top by getting the tripod's centre column horizontal. Next I added my flashgun and diffused the light to stop glare reflecting off the button.

A multi coloured necklace I made from my collection of buttons... not valuable but fun to wear!

Taken for the Macro Mondays theme of buttons. Sadly this little face desperately needs some dental work but due to Covid hasn't been able to get to the dentist and is now suffering from extreme tooth decay!

the macromonday theme for 5/20 is copper (bronze and brass are ok, too)...... "Bronze and brass are acceptable as is oxidized, tarnished or corroded metallic copper such as verdigris but copper-based chemicals such as copper sulfate or Schweizer's reagent are not."........ artistically this one might be the best but i think i'm going to go with the copper fly- oh, my

Meh, yet another Great Egret, Ardea alba, in flight against an overcast sky, no better than several I have already posted. However, it’s very encouraging as a proof of concept, because I got it with my brand new Fujifilm X-T5 on my first outing.

Manual exposure; one frame from a 7fps burst; following the subject at 300mm; continuous back button autofocus set for bird tracking; saved as RAW and HEIF on UHS-II cards; uploaded to the Cloud with my old SD card adapter, processed from HEIF in Photos on iPad; cropped from 40MP to 3, for a 6000mm full-frame equivalent reach.

Several questions remain to be answered, haven’t got a slick workflow. Had to sit on a park bench for a while and search the manual on my phone to figure out how to invoke burst mode. 😜

A bit of button fun for Macro Mondays theme, buttons, of course!! Have a good Monday everyone :)

Three heavily weathered buttons found near battlefields of the U.S. Civil War era. The two buttons in the upper portion of the photo are both what remains of brass buttons. On the left is the back of a button which is partially legible. It originally would have read - Scovill MFG Co Waterbury. It is about 18 mm in diameter and was likely from a U.S. (Union) soldier's coat. On the right a heavily corroded button, 16 mm, that probably came from a U.S. (Union) soldier's shirt cuff or trousers.

The Scovill Manufacturing Company began producing buttons for the U.S. military when the War of 1812 interrupted the supply coming from England. Please forgive the long description and HMM everyone!

I'd never seen this flower before, but it was in a large planted container that I put on my front steps. It's Greek name is Craspedia.

The theme for Macro Mondays is Button(s), the perfect subject for my new ring light (see it in the first comment below).
