Here's the button side of the finished fastener. I looped the string over and sewed it to itself to have something to sew the button to.
Scrap dichroic 1.5cm square with a clear top. Offset squares did not make a nice circle. Probably a bit too big.

So a few of us went through the "button loop" inside the back of the cave. This involved crawling about on our stomachs, trying not to lose the button's off our clothing, squeezing through very tight spaces and jumping down from a hole in the side of the cave back into a space where you could (finally) stand up straight again. We did it!
Brawn-Mercedes BGP 001 built for the 2009 season and powered by a Mercedes 2.4l v8.
Jenson Button won six of the first seven races for Ross Brawn's new team in 2009 en route the the world title. A takeover during the winter turned Brawn into the first works Mercedes team since 1955.
It's a shame but Mercedes wanted the BGP 001 in the new team livery rather than the colours this car wore to take the titles in 2009.
The car was driven by Nick Heidfeld and Nico Rosberg during the weekend of the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2010.
