I fell asleep doubled over, and woke to find two perfect button imprints on my knee. I didn't want them to go away, but eventually they did.
Rethinking the ones I bought on Wednesday for one of the others. Transparent blue or lime green or sparkly?
Nachdem klar war, dass der Taster keinen Kontakt mehr gibt, zerlegte ich den Taster.
After proofing that the push button did not give a contact I disassembled the push button.
made to use some of the buttons that were under-represented in my shop. the pattern is the argyle lace hat by laura irwin. the yarn is Dale of Norway/Dalegarn Heilo that i probably got at a thrift store years ago. it came out pretty baggy and i kind of feel like i'm wearing one of those russian fur hats when i have it on. i ended up shortening the top, i think my yarn was thicker than the yarn the pattern called for. the embroiderable bamboo buttons available in my shop.
Inspired by Stephen Colbert's "Bears & Balls" I created a standalone button that plays a random Colbert sample every time you press the button. The button is a giant arcade button from Adafruit, and the internal hardware is an Adafruit Audio FX Sound Board with amp. That's 90% of the battle right there!

During a good weather break, our crews in central Oregon did some non-snow chores like buttoning: placing reflective markers on the center median on our roads. Reflective buttons help travelers keep centered when bad weather hits.
This button fairy is attached to an ATC with some ribbon and may be detached for hanging. I used the same image which was provided for this week's MAMMA trade.
I found this button in one of our new buildings and I have no idea what it's for. It's just on a little panel on the wall.
These wonderful (mostly vintage) buttons were what I came home with from this wonderful, wonderful date!
I saw some pretty button fairies on flickr and thought I'd have a go at making one, this is my first attempt I trimmed her up a bit after this photo, and have now sent her to a friend as a gift.
