Not forced perspective or photoshopped in anyway. This button really is like 2 1/2 inches across. It's older than I am too.
Buttoned Down Disco's dancefloor rocked with Christian Laing's blend of indie electro poppin' mayhem in the main room, while A Mixtape Affair hosted the JD lounge with leftfield electro. It's invite only entry, so make sure you request invites for the next party at: www.buttoneddowndisco.com
A preview of the January Kunstkammer Gift. Don't know how Jellyfish gets around without a seeing-eye bird.
ETA: I see I have a couple of ne'er-do-wells staying up until all hours of the night watching my photostream! :D Happy New Year!
ETA 2: I think it qualifies for the jewelry pool as art jewelry. :)

Bought at Kid 'n Ewe for Mr. Greenjeans. Nice lady, Robin Pascal. Too bad the purchase comes through as "perfect butt" on your Visa bill.
Well, I mean I couldn't read it. And at first we had no idea that it was even a button! But I accidentally pressed it and the server ran up to our table...uh...so that's what it's for!

One of the three Georgia signers of the Declaration of Independence. He now rest in the Old Colonial Cemetery in Savannah, Georgia.
Circuit board I made that fits into a Staples Easy button. Circuit includes microcontroller and flash chip programmed with digital samples of canned laughter. Rubber switch in center was sawn away from original Easy button PCB and epoxied onto mine.
There are a total of 21 hand-made button packs in this edition. Each pack will be signed and numbered on the back of the header card.
Each pack contains 3 carefully shuffled and sorted buttons on a hand painted and cut display board, and are sealed in a bag guarded by a pair of Kuso Customs and a neatly crimped length of wire.
They will be available on Thursday between 4pm and 5:30pm and on Friday between 5pm and 6pm at booth 605 during signings.
The packs retail for $5 and are intended for neato nostalgia factor. Individual buttons will be available to pick and wear (or not) for $1 each.
Here's the button side of the finished fastener. I looped the string over and sewed it to itself to have something to sew the button to.
