This is how I did each strap button hole. 3/32" drill bit followed by a countersink bit.

this makes better button holes that the new machines can as far as I'm concerned. I'm still learning the adjustments on it.

You just install it on your machine and away it goes. it moves the fabric around so that you don't have to. you just have to remember to lower your dogs do that the bobbin thread doesn't get all tangled up.
