Thanks to Jƶrg Belling for identifying the flower

Bumblebees don't seem threatening like other bees and wasps. They are almost comical with their plump, furry bodies, but they are very busy and very speedy, especially when you are trying to capture one with your camera. lol

"Aerodynamically, the bumblebee shouldn't be able to fly, but the bumblebee doesn't know it so it goes on flying anyway."

Bumblebees are social bees with a queen and workers. A queen always looks for a nest site where insulation material is already available. In the spring, such a queen, which has already mated before winter, starts her own nest. In it she first raises a few workers, who then take over the work. Eventually, new queens and male bumblebees are produced that mate. All bumblebees die except the new queens, which go into hibernation.
