Story
Heimdall is a reconnaissance spaceship. Powered by a single yet powerful thermonuclear engine from BST (Benny Space Technologies), coupled with a high-energy particles grabber under the cockpit that helps to replenish fuel supplies on a long missions. To disperse a ridiculous amounts of heat from reactor's core a series of thermo-dump panels are mount beneath the fuselage. Being a reconnaissance ship it is also equipped with a sensors array under the cockpit and some ion cannons at each wing, you known, just in case....
Design and build
It took me more than 5 months to design and build it. A major inspiration comes from amazing artwork by Michal Kus. Especially the color-blocking and indentations at the front of the wings were a place from which I started. Along the way I shifted things my own way to suit ideas that were jumbling inside my head or I just wanted to incorporate, like the thermo-dump panels from Hamilton's series of books. There were many fun challenges along the way not only related to its geometry or color-blocking but also in making sure that this flying mosaic would be rigid. All of this required many rebuilds and tests but I had a blast doing all of this :)

Built during the 1911-1912 era, the depot complimented the Williard Hotel in background. The depot closed in the 1980's due to a lack of passengers. Now, I understand it is being restored. That would be wonderful.
Built on a GMC W-series chassis and equipped with Pontiac Firebird taillights, it featured a 300-horsepower, 6.0L 5700 Vortec V8.
Built by the Normans, it was consecrated in 1197 by the Archbishop Berardo. Henry VI, Holy Roman Emperor and Constance I of Sicily were present to witness the ceremony. The current building is the final result of some twentieth-century reconstructions, which took place following the disastrous earthquake that struck Messina in 1908 and the considerable damage that resulted from the heavy aerial bombardment in World War II.
It was built at the end of 19th Century by master-builders Pyrch Mykhailo Mykhailovych and Pyrch Fedir Mykhailovych and re-built in 1946. After Prykarpattia’s joining to the Soviet Ukraine, the mill became the property of a local collective farm. It was used for its intended purpose. In 1960th, after a water flood it didn’t function till 1970th, when transferred to the Museum. The mill stayed on a bank of a torrent, flowing out of Shypit water flow.
The building has a double-room log construction. It consists of a “shack” to shelter the visiting farmers and a mill itself with mechanism. It has two waterwheels and two pairs of stones – grinding plates.
The flouring mill is built of smereka wood. Its high roof is covered by combination of straw and wood. It is the only showpiece of the museum with such combination of roofing techniques.
To grind corn, water should be forwarded to the walls. For this purpose, the stream has been dammed up by smereka timbers. Water taken from the torrent passed by hollowed-up logs to the upper wheels; they turned the axles with wheels – gears, and they tuned a shaft and the upper stone. Grains had to be loaded into a hopper fixed above, and flour fell into a through, fixed under the lower stone.
Total area of the building is 62.7 square meters.

Після приєднання Закарпаття до радянської України млин став власністю колгоспу, використовувався за призначенням. В 1960-х роках після повені млин не функціонував до 1970-х років, коли його перевезли до Музею. Млин стояв на березі стрімкого потоку, що витікає з водопаду Шипіт.
Споруда має двокамерну зрубну конструкцію і складається з «хижі» - приміщення, де жили і відпочивали приїжджі селяни, і млина з механізмом. Він має два водяних колеса і дві пари каменів – жорен.
Млин збудований із смерекового дерева. Високий дах комбінований, покритий соломою і деревом. В музеї це єдиний експонат, де поєднано різні матеріали та покрівельні техніки.
Щоб перемолоти збіжжя, треба було спрямувати воду на колеса. Для цього потік перегороджувався гаттю із смерекових колод. Воду з потоку подавали довбаними колодами до верхніх коліс, які обертали вали із закріпленими на них колесами – шестернями, а вони обертали веретено і верхній камінь. Зерно засипали в кіш, що кріпиться зверху, а борошно сиплеться в корито, яке закріплене внизу нижнього каменю.
Загальна площа споруди – 62,7 кв.м.

Built ca 1908., this little Roman Catholic church is situated on the Chuchuwayha Indian Reserve #2, just east of Hedley, B.C.
This was as close as I got to the little church. I wish I could have gotten closer, especially inside, but alas, it wasn't meant to be. I'm just glad I had an opportunity to photograph it before it was destroyed.

I built it especially for WAH as today they are visiting the group Lego Adventures because today is International Lego Day.
It was on this day that Danish carpenter, Godtfred Kirk Christiansen, first submitted his patent for the original Lego brick in 1958.
According to Lego the name comes from the Danish leg godt, meaning "play well"

Tarasp castle
The castle of Tarasp was built around 1040 by the lords of Tarasp, who had moved from the lake Como to the Engadin. In 1239, the fortress came into the possession of the count of Tirol. From 1646 on, the castle of Tarasp became an Austrian county and in the course of the 16th century the complex was magnified and made a border fortress. In 1803, Napoleon gave Tarasp, which was one of the last Austrian enclaves in Switzerland, to the Helvetic Republic. In the following decades, the castle frequently changed owners and sustained grave damages.
In the summer of 1900 the industrial Dr. Karl August Lingner from Dresden came to Vulpera for a cure. The inventor of Odol mouthwash then decided to acquire the fortress and to renovate it. In an ambitious effort aimed at bringing the castle of Tarasp back to glory, old wood paneling and furniture were bought up from patrician houses in the Grisons, in Tirol and in Germany. In 1916, Lingner installed a Dresdner Jehmlich organ in the former armory chamber that is now the castle’s music room. This organ is now said to be the biggest private organ in Europe.
In the same year, Lingner died of a sudden death. According to his testament the castle of Tarasp was meant to be given to the last king of Saxony, Friedrich August III. As he refused the legacy, Tarasp then went to the grand duke Ernst Ludwig von Hessen. The von Hessen family remained in possession of the castle until the 30th of March 2016, when Not Vital acquired the castle of Tarasp.
Today, the castle of Tarasp houses a collection of antique, modern and contemporary art. The Parkin, a sculpture park in the village of Sent, and the historic Planta house in Ardez form part of Not Vital’s foundation as well.
Built in 1380 during the Ming Dynasty, the Drum Tower in Xi'an housed the drums that were beat to signal day's end. Gloucester Cathedral
Built in the 14th century, the Great Cloister is widely regarded as the first and best example of fan vaulting in the world and is now known as ‘Hogwarts’ to Harry Potter fans. It remains internationally significant today but a 2019 survey confirmed it is at risk.
Before its current incarnation, Gloucester Cathedral was a monastic community of men and women, thereafter an abbey where every aspect of daily life from food growing and preparation, learning and democratic decision making to hospitality, almsgiving and medical care took place alongside worship. The Cloister was the centre of this life.
We will use the long-term conservation of this extraordinary built heritage (including the North Nave and Transept) to develop our stonemasons training and mentoring programme. We will offer opportunities for at least eight talented craftspeople to develop their careers through a once-in-a-millennia opportunity to work on this extraordinary fabric whilst gaining a foundation degree in Heritage Skills.
Visitors will experience conservation first-hand, learning about the people and techniques which protect heritage for future generations and we will open the Cathedral Workshop to wider uses, including tours and training.
Built in 1928 by The Royal Aircraft Establishment Farnborough to house an experimental rotating loop navigation system (Inertial Navigation System) and later adopted by the Atomic Weapons Research Establishment (AWRE) to record ballistics and aerodynamics during bomb trials. Now used by the National Trust as a fabulous bird hide, but the integrity and history of the building using information boards is very well explained.

Built for Sidney Bernstein, Baron Bernstein, the theatre was designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott, Bertie Crewe and Cecil Massey. It has a restrained neoclassical exterior, but an interior designed in an Italianate style by director and designer Theodore Komisarjevsky. Vladimir Polunin copied works by Tintoretto, Titian, Pinturicchio, and Giorgione. It has a safety curtain that holds Jacopo del Sellaio's The Triumph of Love.
There are golden engravings in the auditorium, and red seats, carpets and curtains. This look is based on traditional Italian theatres. There are decorated ceilings and sculpted wooden doors throughout the building.
It opened on 24 September 1930 with the premiere of Private Livesby Noël Coward, who also appeared in the play, with Adrienne Allen, Gertrude Lawrence and Laurence Olivier. Coward returned to the theatre with Tonight at 8.30, a series of ten plays, in 1936 and Quadrille in 1952. (Wikipedia)

Built this a while ago, alongside the new cockpitbox previously posted.
With this I’m testing out a modular system, so almost everything that attaches too the cockpit box section can be swapped and upgraded. This has been a goal ever since I built my Rayfire.
So with this system you can change out weapons, Balancers, shielding, engines, cowling and wing shapes etc.
"Jewish House" of València
This building known as "La Casa Judía" (The Jewish House) was commissioned by its owner José Salom who is thought to have been of Jewish origin. This may explain why there is a Magen David above the doorway.
It was built in 1930 by valencian architect Juan Guardiola Martínez who also designed an Indian inspired Art Deco building in his native town of Sueca (south of València City) known as "Ateneo Sueco del Socorro" and a Chinese inspired Art Deco building in Barcelona known as "La Casa China" (The Chinese House).
Unfortunately, you can only admire this building from the outside as it is private property but you just can’t help letting your imagination run wild with all the other extravagant and over the top features it must be hiding on the inside.

Between Peach Spring and Yampai is the curved double track Nelson tunnel. It is the only tunnel on the former Santa Fe Transcon in Arizona. This is train Q-LABH a priority intermodal from Los Angeles to Birmingham using the Avard connection with the BN (former Frisco). This was in 1991 well before the Santa Fe/BN merger Power from both roads was typically used. In 1991, we were able to drive across the track in Nelson through a clearly never-closed gate and use former ROW that had been bypassed in 1923 when the tunnel was built to get to tunnel. I've read that the lime plant in Nelson has closed that off in recent years and getting to the tunnel is difficult.

Built for the Discord Lego Role-Playing Game, Fractured Kingdoms.
A veritable army was marching through the streets of Revanna. The Anti-Ethereans had organized themselves and were causing destruction on their way to the palace to remove Vosh from his throne.
Duncan had defended his home, but couldn't stand by while his city was ravished. He and his personal guard had set an ambush in the city. He only hoped his efforts were enough to turn the tide against this lawless mob.
The local shale quarries must have provided the stones from which these homes were built 100's of years ago.
Built in 1875, Sassoon docks is one of the oldest in India. It is one of the few docks open to the public. The fishing boats arrive in the morning and the dock bursts with colour and action.
Built in 1820 as part of the passage from Columbia to Saluda mountain, it is the oldest bridge in South Carolina.
The St. Marks Light is the second-oldest light station in Florida. It is located on the east side of the mouth of the St. Marks River, on Apalachee Bay.
In the 1820s, the town of St. Marks, Florida was considered an important port of entry. The town served as a port for the prosperous planting region of Middle Florida and some counties of South Georgia. Growers hauled their agricultural products down to the port town in wagons by way of an early road which connected the then territorial capital of Tallahassee to the town of St. Marks. Later, this road would be widened and improved upon by the Tallahassee Railroad Company and would become the state's first railroad.
Once the agricultural products reached the new port town, they were loaded aboard boats for shipment to New Orleans and/or St. Augustine. There were, however, problems in navigating both the Apalachee Bay and the St. Marks River. In many places both bay and river were shallow, and it was not too uncommon for boats to run aground and/or get mired in the muddy shallows
After a survey was completed of the St. Marks area by Robert Mitchell, the Collector of Customs at Pensacola, and a site chosen for the lighthouse, it was discovered that the initial construction sum of $6,000 would be insufficient. The appropriation was increased to $14,000, and by mid-1829 a contract was signed with Winslow Lewis of Boston for the construction of a tower in the St. Marks area for $11,765. The finished product was not accepted by the Collector of Customs for St. Marks, Mr. Jesse H. Williams, because it had been constructed with hollow walls. Williams felt that the tower should be constructed with solid walls and, therefore, refused to accept the work.
Calvin Knowlton was brought in to rebuild the tower. He oversaw its completion, and in 1831, Williams, satisfied that the light was built according to the contract, accepted the work. That same year saw the tower's whale-oil lamps lit for the first time by Samuel Crosby, who had been appointed the first Keeper of the St. Marks Lighthouse the previous year.
The lighthouse was automated by the United States Coast Guard in 1960, and in 2000 the Coast Guard spent $150,000 in 2000 to stabilize the lighthouse. In 2000 or 2001 the lighthouse's fourth-order Fresnel lens was deactivated and a modern solar-powered beacon was placed outside the lantern room. The historic Fresnel lens remained in place in the tower for over a decade. In July 2005, Hurricane Dennis broke a window of the lantern, flooding the inside of the tower.
In October 2013 the Coast Guard deactivated transferred ownership of the lighthouse to the United States Fish and Wildlife Service, which operates the St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge. The lighthouse was deactivated in 2016 and the Coast Guard's solar beacon was removed. Financial grants from the Florida Department of State and Duke Energy in 2016, plus crowdfunded donations, were put towards repairs and restoration. On October 31, 2019, a replica of the original fourth-order Fresnel lens was lit in the tower. The light is now maintained as a private aid to navigation and is lit seasonally.

Built in 2020, the 23 ft Barquito II is a Chesapeake Bay dead rise skiff with a D.N. Hylan design hull and a builder imagined cabin. She is intended to be a slow cruising highly efficient camping cruiser.
The two wooden kayaks look like the one I built from a Pygmy Boats kit. These wooden kayaks are great for lake or surf kayaking. Unfortunately, Pygmy is no longrer in business.

Built opposite the major mine of the area at that time, the Cosmopolitan Proprietary Mine. It was one of 11 hotels in the town by 1907.
Built on the royal orders of Sultan Qaboos of Oman, the Royal Opera House reflects unique contemporary Omani architecture, and has a capacity to accommodate maximum of 1,100 people. This opera house, became the first in the world equipped with Radio Marconi's multimedia interactive display seatback system, Mode23.
Built in 1887 on Roosevelt Avenue in National City, and moved to its present location on A Avenue in 1978.

Built on the orders of Emperor Charles VI to mark the end of the Great Plague, this early 18th Century church is something of a baroque masterpiece. Interestingly enough, the actress Hedy Lamarr was married here and the composer Vivaldi is buried here.
Built by Alexander who was the Duke of Hamilton, he lived from 1767 to 1852, the structure was incomplete at the time of his death, he was later interred in the mausoleum on completion, he was fascinated with Egyptian history so was berried in a huge sarcophagus, he was the only member of his family that wasn't housed in the walls of the mausoleum but placed on a huge slab below ground level, the rest of his family were interred in the walls on a lower level to The Duke. He wanted a place where all his relatives could be together, in the 1920's there was subsidence due to water ingress from the river Clyde so all the family were relocated to a local cemetery as there was a risk of the structure collapsing, works were succesfully completed to save the structure. Before succeeding to the dukedom, he was Lord Lieutenant of Lanarkshire, Colonel of the Militia, and MP for Lancaster. He was later appointed Ambassador to Russia, and travelled extensively in Russia and Poland.
