Loudon Buffet stands tall, a relic of a fading restaurant time. Beets,
macaroni salads, hominy, liver, and dozens of other things. When you
walk in the door, somebody gets your attention from across the room to
see what you want to drink. I usually have unsweetened tea. After I
fill my plate (for the 1st round), there's my tea, waiting for me at
the table. I like that.
Some people think LS is dirty. I think it's just not buffed to plastic
perfection like most of the place that have steamrollered this type of
eatery over time. In the name of progress, apparently.
Too bad for progress.
I don't know what will fill the void on that inevitable day when —
hopefully many years from now — Loudon Square closes. I don't think
there's anything left that fits the bill. I don't know where I'll go.
First official buffet (cus I hate buffets) in Vegas. Sat right at the end where the lady in white is standing.
Love it!

This image depicts mostly form and color. Form is shown many ways. The carpet is full of round design patterns and a few diamonds also. The plates on the buffet give off a round form along with the middle bowl that the dressing is in and the hamburger buns. Farther in the back of the room is a hanging clock that is also round. The outside bowls that the croutons are in give off a square or parallelogram form along with the windows and images beside the windows. The room is painted a darker beige color so it brightens up near the windows by the buffet. The saturation of the navy blue around the table is higher than the navy blue on the carpet which makes the blue on the table a lot more visible on than the blue on the carpet which almost looks black in this image. When looking at the buffet, the salads are more attention-grabbing than anything else on the table because of the color. The tomatoes are the most visible and the saturation of them along with the onions seem to be very high due to the lighting since they are next to the windows. Another object the catches the eye is in the top right corner of the back window. It seems to be the reflection of the exit sign and it pops out because the back of the room looks pretty dim and then out of nowhere there is just a little parallelogram of red in the window. The light blue to the left on the picture on the wall also pops a little because it compliments the wall color very well.
