Testing out my new banged-up M2 with the 90mm 2.8 Elmarit (Vintage). Rangefinder needs adjustment and shutter was slow, so this was a lucky shot.
Needed to reupload due to Lightroom fuckup.
Blowing bubbles off the deck. With the shadow from the garage making the grass nice and dark we got pretty good contrast for our bubbles.
for making Bubble Tea. These are Tapioca balls. They must be boiled to soften and enlarge. They are then soaked in fruit flavored syrup or covered with brown sugar to make them sweet.

I was just a guest at this wonderful wedding....
I used a basic D40. Most of the wedding shots I see are so muted and toned down, whereas I love lots of colour!
Taken at my friends Sri Lankan wedding...The bubbles were from a bubble machine...a bit of manual blurring of the background in photoshop...
Bubbles! We love 'em here at PFB. In Issue 30, we show you how to create stunning abstract images using a bit of water and other household objects.

Joy of joy found some bubbles in the cupboard.
Tonights plan was to try and create a Xmas photo with my bubbles.
bubble of thought free to fly over my head, empty. just letting go everything I know,
just letting go all the things I think about myself,
just letting myself go away in the deep blue color of the sea.

I bought this old railroad station bubbler from the Iron Horse Central in Minnesota to replace the one that used to be in the depot at this location. Water and drain pipes still came up through the floor. We had to replace the old plumbing. We had to braze the broken bowl bracket and replace the water valve that came with the bubbler when we bought it. People tell me they remembered entering the depot and could hear the water running in the bubbler.
New York, Connecticut border south of Kent, Connecticut on the Appalachian Trail. This small stream that was a great provider of ice shots a few months ago is now a great provider of foam/bubble shots.
I returned to the same spot and lo and behold, a similar bubble island was spinning under a small drop. A lot more movement this day but sometimes movement is good; I like the movement in the individual bubbles although didn't see it until I got home and looked at the images on my computer.
