Bubble soccer — a mashup between soccer, human bowling and dodgeball — was one of the highlights of Orientation Week 2015.
A possible Take A Class With Dave and Dave submission for Week 20, Assignment 2.
Spheres - This one is going to be difficult. It probably won't be too hard to find something spherical to photograph, but your job is to somehow make it interesting. No points for cleverness...the thing you photograph should actually LOOK like a sphere in the photo (i.e. don't shoot the ground and say the Earth is a sphere; don't shoot the sun or the moon which look like circles). Also, no eyeballs.
I took Savanah out today to get some shots of bubbles for my Sphere assignment. Not sure if I'm going to go with bubbles for spheres but they were my first thought when I read the assignment, plus, she loves bubbles and we have such fun with them.
Approximately 100 people showed up today to celebrate the spirit of Vancouver and the Library - and to blow bubbles.

There's an artist in DC who makes tape sculptures and puts them in random spots about town. Whenever I stumble across one, it always makes gives me a different perspective of a path I've walked a hundred times before.

Have you run into Bubble Ben on the streets of Northampton yet? We love him! Kids love him! What's not to love? He's Bubble Ben! Every time we've crossed paths with him, he's been between Thornes Market and the parking garage, making humongo bubbles that splatter about an eighth of a cup of soap on kids running and jumping to catch and pop them.
What takes place during these episodes is a classic case of Instant Karma: beautiful glistening bubbles billow out of Ben's bubble lasso as the wind catches them and gently lifts them up and across the promenade, carrying flirtatious thoughts of lazy summer days... only to be chased down by kids with fingers sticky from Herrells' ice cream, leaping and jumping at them in an attempt to slap and poke at their delicate buoyancy. And when successful, soap rains down on them, into their eyes and hair... and they stop briefly to poke those sticky fingers in their eyes that now burn - a bubbles revenge... and when they recover they do it again and again. All patiently choreographed by Ben. Parent's giving him tips for this dance... It's like they are saying thank you for entertaining my child for these past five minutes AND for also pre-soaking them in preparation for their evening bath!

Water allows us different things, add a bit of soap and whey, bubbles!!!
Children and adults still love blowing those soapy bubbles, rainbow coloured, trying to catch one?
I remember, when I was young, I had a white, stone pipe and a bowl of soapy water.
OOPs sometimes, catching breath, I sucked instead of blowing, NOT GOOD! LOL
thanks for your time and comments, M, (*_*)

Bubble gum! Great for the ultimate candy lover. Bright, fun colors! (the pink is even brighter in real life than on the computer screen). A fun piece that will never go out of style.
