My son and I were playing with the bubbles. I was having a hard time getting any in focus. We'll be trying again as soon as the clouds clear.
While taking photos down by the docks in False Creek, a man approached with a bucket and a rope. He dipped the rope into the bucket, and waved it around to let the soft breeze make some pretty spectacular bubbles!
Dawn dish detergent + bowl + water + wire whisk = lots of tiny, foamy bubbles!
Also found picmonkey - HDR effect along with an added frame.

Little K agreed to help me with tonight's shot. I'd hoped to get some sunset bubble shots - but was just a touch too late. And because of the dark, I had to ramp up the ISO and slow down the shutter speed. The slower shutter speed resulted in the bubbles looking more fluid - which is an effect I found I actually kind of liked.

I often see images that would make a nice capture, and usually cant quite get to the best position to take a shot. Enjoying a coffee whilst in St Paul de Vence this opportunity presented itself.

She was moving soooooo fast trying to pop the bubbles that she was a little blur but you can just see how badly she wanted to pop them all.

In Old Madrid this fellow, like the Pied Piper, drew a crowd of ecstatic little ones, chasing and 'catching' the bubbles.
I have blown quite a few bubbles now and know that this bubble has a very thin soap layer and so it nearly acts like a spherical mirror!
