Roselle (Hibiscus sabdariffa) is a species of flowering plant in the genus Hibiscus that is native to Africa, most likely West Africa. In the 16th and early 17th centuries it was spread to Asia and the West Indies, where it has since become naturalized in many places.[1] The stems are used for the production of bast fibre and the dried cranberry-tasting calyces are commonly steeped to make a popular infusion known by many names, including carcade.

this lens is actually pretty impressive when extended out on the helicoid for quasi-macro work. this was shot at either f2.2 or stopped down one click to f4. this lens might have one of the best macro tube performances of any of the vintage 50ish lenses i've had the opportunity to use.

Another Voightländer made lens for Carl Zeiss Icarex camera: Carl Zeiss Skoparex 35mm f3.5. Not appreciated or trendy as Distagons or Flectogons but a very nice lens on its own. I like very much the colors it renders. This photo is SOOC with standard in camera settings. No EV correction. I find colors rich, punchy, natural. Contrast is excellent too. Wide open, it is very sharp where it counts for this kind of photos.
The background is not bokeh friendly on this photo. Street, cars, fence, some leaves; but gives full scale of possibilities. Natural, non geometrical shapes are beautifully rendered. Very pleasing but not boring, at least for my eye. Cars too. We recognize shapes, but they do not fight for attention. Fence is a bit busy but not distracting either.
Light points are rendered as bubbly onion ring circles all over the frame.
This time, I shared a "scary" image for you. 😱😱😱
I thought that it was a good opportunity for using some sparkling background to emphasize the bubble-bokeh generated by my father's Pentacon. 😅😅😅

P-ROKKOR CHIYOKO 75mm f2.5 lens took from Minolta Mini 35mm Slide projector.
Not sharp but wonderful bubble bokeh - very similar to trioplan/diaplan. Had fungus in the middle element but managed to clean as this lens can be opened from the front.

The Nørrebrohallen was our shelter when frozen rain started - there is a very nice (= hyggelig) café inside :)

Farbenfroher spiralförmiger Fahrradständer bei der Nørrebrohallen, Kopenhagen [im sogenannten Roten Bereich des "Superkilen" - einem öffentlichen Park im Stadtteil Nørrebro, berühmt für seine ausgefallene mulikulturelle Gestaltung]
Die Halle hat uns auch vor dem heftigen Graupelschauer an diesem Tag gerettet - es gibt ein sehr gemütliches Café dort (hyggelig) :)
