Testing the new purchase Patrinast 85mm f2.8 projector lens - took from Liesegang Fanti-Automat 300 35mm slide projector. 1959 - Made in Germany.

A glass of water, in fact, but trying to look interesting.

(The bokeh potential of the otherwise rather impressive iPhone 12 camera is, alas, rather limited. So I got some help from a spray of water.)

The snow paints a delicate picture.

Taken with my DIY Diaplan Lens on Nikon D800 while waiting for the sun to set. This lens is said to have the same optics as the famous Trioplan 100 but needs modifications to work on DSLRs as this is coming from a projector.

Exploring blurriness. Pentacon projection lenses have a certain "name" in this regard. It is difficult to find reasonably priced one that is in good shape. Here are a few test shots
