I didn't get a pic of the actual fall-in as I had to quickly help her out of the bath!

I only get two public holidays every year so I'm not very good at them. Good Friday was a day of indoor play, part sponsored by a head cold this guy brought home, but we were well enough for bubbles. Always well enough for bubbles.

Went to Sephora's Friends and Family sales this morning...got some good loot

Flickr seems to have darkened this a bit....

wow, it's been years since i last had a bubble bath. i figured i deserved one after the first 5-a-side game of the new season, when we thrashed the opposition 11-10!

i went for the full-on luxury experience, with bubbles, candles, wine and deep heat. lots of deep heat.

it didn't work though, as my legs were still knackered the next day

Today I continued my gardening streak, putting in a raspberry and some mint and lots and lots of annuals. Yesterday I did so much digging that my back is sore, so I scaled it back a bit though. I got the annuals from Borella's, an absolutely gigantic farmstand down on Edgewood Avenue in St James. I've never seen so many impatiens, marigolds and geraniums in one place in my life. The place is a veritable sea of blossom. I bought and planted 18 impatiens and 6 geraniums. They do jolly up the front garden. I also stopped by Anne Marie's farm stand and was charmed by the little pony they keep there. He was hoping I had a carrot, but as he was standing right behind a sign reading "Do Not Feed The Horse" he was out of luck. And I paid a visit to the exhibitionist swans, and got a good look at the eggs since Mummy Swan was letting them air while she did a bit of important preening. I counted at least 8 and possibly 9, so we may be in for a bumper crop of cygnets this year! I swung by one more farmstand, Detmer, so I could get a pie and a made a quick trip to the library to pick up my reserved copy of the new Charlaine Harris and all in all, it's been a really good day. I'm tired, but it's a happy tired and I'm looking forward to my bubblebath and feeling like I deserve it.

I had a bubble bath by candlelight this evening. It was relaxing. Until the little man stumbled in to take a whizz, that is.

Some day I'll have my very own bathroom.

Bubble bath.

Normally I like high contrast, sharp images. But for this set I wanted soft, feminine, dreamy - the way a bath should be!

I Love Lush and cannot wait to try all this stuff out.

I spent the entirety of Nine's birthday party up to my neck in bubble bath.

Baby dog hanging out while I soak and have some hot cocoa (of course).

Some bubbles from my bubble bath today. They kind of look inverted. Not sure how that happened, but it's kind of weird.

32 weeks pregnant.

My wife found some Polaroid cameras in very good condition (a couple different 600 models and a super old school OneStep) for ultra cheap at a local thrift shop. She bought them for me, because she's awesome (and despite the fact that I really don't need MORE cameras).

Anyway, here's a shot of my daughter having fun in a bubble bath from the first pack testing out one of the 600s. It's the Close-Up model, and I wish that I had switched to close-up mode, as it's all out-of-focus. Ah, well...
