She woke up. And immediately wanted to fly, not away, she didn't seem scared, but fly. She couldn't. And then I noticed her wing had suffered some damage, why haven't I noticed that before? Oh dear, it may take a while until she can leave this world an go back to her own. She seemed sad, and what do we humans do, when we are sad. A good old bath always helps, if just a little, to ease sorrows and chase away bad thoughts. At least for a while. So I took her to the bathroom and since she would probably drown in the big bath tub, I improvised and used the sink instead. She glanced at the foam and I muttered to myself that foam is not dangerous. "Foam", she said. And looked at me. "What is foam?" She could speak my language?

"Was ist Schaum?" Sie konnte mich verstehen?

My laptop is up and running again so I have a week's worth of photos to upload.
This was a bit lazy really, I just decided to take a few snaps before a bath and decided they'd do! I kinda like this though, I like our peach bath even though that's supposed to be really old fashioned and our woodwork. It's cosy.
TTV playing today with a Cyberman bubblebath. Urban Acidified and the curve tweaked a bit to give a more bluey green colour than the default gives. Aiming for an old monitor look and that moment of exposition when you find out which of the Doctor's enemies it is this week.
Victor is up for auction!

This is Victor! He's a Boar Monster. He likes to play in the mud and get dirty... but he's also into bubblebaths so it's all good.
This doll is completely handmade and sewn by hand. Cast resin/hand painted face, hooves, paws and ears. His tusks are hand sculpted with durable epoxy clay. Horse hair whiskers and mohawk with hand shaped/dyed wool dreadlocks. His necklace is made from a deer antler tine with mammoth bone beads and various stones and crystals. Stuffed with soft polyfill with some pellets in his rear so he sits properly. Faux fur body, glass eyes. Totally one of a kind.
Victor is 13" tall ( 33cm) tall from top of head to bottom of hoof.
These dolls take a really long time to make but I love them very much. They can be handled and cuddled but please treat them with some care and be aware they will not hold up to hard play. Not rated for young children!
I only make a new doll about once a week and no two will look the same. Each doll is very special and meant to bring joy to his or her new home!
This was the second part of my shoot with val yesterday. I have to say this is my fav shoot i have ever done with her. It was nice to see her step alittle out of her comfort level to produce some nice images. I think she did an amazing job and just comes out gorgeous. I actually had to delete a ton of pictures just because it was so hard for her to take a bad picture. My bathroom at my new place isn't to big and it was very hard to try and light the place. There was no way i was going to be able to get an umbrella in the bath tub with her so i just thought i would bounce the light and try to do that. Lucky my walls are a nice white color and defused the light very well. I couldn't of asked for these to come out any better. I wish i could of used my 50mm lens but it was to long for a situation like this. Even though there wasn't many poses she could do in this situation she gave me a ton to work with. The only thing that didn't work out was the rubber duckies that we bought. I guess they weren't the floating kind and just sank. This girl is flat out amazing. I wish i could see her more often.

From the 2017 Festival
"The focus of our mural is to combine two distinctively unique painting practices into one cohesive piece of hyper-stylized art. It relies on a careful juxtaposition of abstraction and academia, resulting in a playful composition consisting of human form, flowing organic shapes, and bold colours."

I love how flowing and smooth the transition between sketch and final piece is when working digitally. The longer I work this way the more I appreciate it.
So apparently I am behind the times, because I didn't realize that bathtime toys need or get their own floatation devices, lol!
Lunchtime bubblebaths!!!
Bubble bath.
Normally I like high contrast, sharp images. But for this set I wanted soft, feminine, dreamy - the way a bath should be!
The model is my beautiful niece.
I love these shower gels. You come out smelling yummy and your skin is nice and soft after you step out of the shower.
I also carry Foam Bath, Hand Sanitizer, and Antibacterial Liquid Soap in several types of scents as well.
Ok I don't have sexy legs by any means. I was honestly just fascinated by the water droplets in the candlelight.
This is how my typical roughs look like. "Typical" being an exaggeration, as I usually don´t do sketches beforehand, but my usual "make stuff up as I go along" way of working is becoming more and more timeconsuming and is pretty inefficient. I really enjoyed doing this sketch and I´m planning to do this on a regular basis from now on.
And yeah, you might remember this girls head ;) I´m under quite a deadline as my professor asked me to do this years school exhibition flyer, and since good faces and heads is the most timeconsuming thing for me I just went for the recycling route. Well, as long as the final piece turns out differently enough...

Did a fun photo shoot today with a group of my friends. We met at an old abandoned house around 1 o'clock in the afternoon and we sat around in one of the rooms and did the zombie makeup...before we left, I put them in the bathtub at the old abandoned house. <3
We then drove an hour and a half to Mt. Pleasant, MI (yes, with ALL of that itchy makeup on their faces) and did an epic adventuresome photoshoot!
It was an incredibly fun day. I hope to get to hang out with all of them again very soon...but maybe next time without so much rotting flesh.... <3
