Permaglas was a name that A. O. Smith Corporation water heaters were marketed under. A. O. Smith patented the glass lined water heater in 1936, creating an affordable and effective way for consumers to get hot water. It soon became the industry standard. "The Girl in the Tub" was used in issues of Reader's Digest. This postcard encourages Permaglas salesmen to follow up on her successful campaign: "One person out of four in your community reads the Reader's Digest." 1961.

Last night I took some time out to have a nice long soak in the bath....
I've been wanting to do this for sooo long now but haven't had the opportunity!
Chump joined me... Although she was afraid of getting wet!
Buzz likes to blow bubbles... although he wasn't too successful on this occasion!
Chump's been keeping an eye on my special bar of Cherry Chocolate that mamavenezia sent me... www.flickr.com/photos/32955908@N04/3940047052/in/photostr...
We've been savouring it for a special occasion....
So tonight was my night of Sweet indulgences... %-)

Taken from the very very back of the Grand. Quite a lot of zoom power, on a Fuji F600EXR.
not that anything is wrong with that...i'm just not....i think....I mean we all are a little they say. awh jeez.
This is part of my Friday/Weekend Shoots Series. It was done with Capture Software hooked up to my Canon a40 - and set to snap a picture every 5 seconds. So I basically just tried to be a model for a minute or two. There are a few I left out due to naughty bits showing. Or slightly too suggestive. My FAVORITE I had to leave out. It was of my back side - it looked great but then I realized that my...shall we say "sack" was in full view. And that was, well...just NOT "good naked".
anyway.. hope you have as much fun looking as I had doing.
Funny bubble bath (or 'powdered body wash' or something) given to my by the fabulous Zophia. From Fridge Fun.

Due to the tragic demise of my trusty Fuji I am forced to realise the capabilities of my camera phone.
Tonight (whilst soaking in the bath) I had a look through all the settings that it has. I'm quite impressed. Eight different photo modes, landscape, portrait, night, sports, etc, etc, including 'user defined' I'll have to explore that one later. But the Macro mode came as a suprise (you even see the little flower symbol on the screen when you choose that one) lol. There are four flash settings, self timer, 2, 10 and 20 seconds, continuous shooting, exposure compensation, five different white balance settings, five different colour tone settings including sepia and B&W, contrast and sharpness control and four ISO settings.
My god, all this on a mobile phone, I'm seriously suprised. I've only ever used it on auto up until now.
So I thought I'd give the macro mode a try for todays photo, this is a shot of the surface of my bath water with the bubbles showing. I had the camera (sorry, phone) about 3 inches from the surface of the water. I'm quite impressed with the results.
I have to keep reminding myself that it even makes telephone calls, lol.
