Day 70 of the 365 days of photography project.
The broken tree at Hurstwood, home to many insects.
Discovered in Burnley, Lancashire
The broken locks were a warning
You got inside my head
I tried my best to be guarded
I'm an open book instead
And I still see your reflection
Inside of my eyes
That are looking for purpose
They're still looking for life
Macro Monday: Theme - Broken
I have hundreds of broken crayons in my house. A bucket full. It seems that once a crayon is broken no one wants to use it anymore. I'm saving them for an art project where I'll be melting all these strays.
HMM!
Thanks for front page Explore!

Located within the cool tranquillity of Eungella National Park, Broken River is touted as one of the best locations in the world to see a rare marsupial in the wild, a platypus. We were indeed lucky enough to actually see one. We had a little bush walk along the river where this picture was taken. It was a bit overcast but the scene already was looking good as I took the first shot. Then the sun peaked through the clouds a little bit and this is the result.
If you like it, I would be glad if you leave a fave. Thanks!
This week's Macro Monday's theme is 'broken'.
See you all later - Gaia is at home with a cold and cough and she needs her mummy.
[Explored ... my first Front Page :))) ... thank you!]
With the fisheye. This is a composite of two images assembled in photoshop. The exposure for the sky was shot at ISO 3200 with large amounts of noise reduction in post. The foreground image was a 3 minute exposure shot at ISO 800. I painted the arch with a flashlight. this arch was probably the largest feature I've ever tried to light paint, rather difficult to get uniform lighting!
Small section of a broken train car window for the Macro Mondays group. Topic: Broken. Happy Macro Monday.
My little ballerina has a broken wrist. Such are the perils of sandpit play when you are four.

.. She was broken, i think it was because she loved too much. And she was always blind to the fact that love too is sometimes broken. -r.m drake-
Broken glass, broken sash cord, broken building. Each time I visit this place, it is in noticeably worse shape than the prior visit. I'm not even sure if there is much hope for this old place at this point. I had to avoid holes in the floor, and hope that the roof didn't fall in on me. I wouldn't want to go in there in a rain or wind storm. The door was wide open. I shut it when I left. What a shame. It's no small wonder that no one has gone in there and left their mark with graffiti yet. I am happy for that, but sad for this interesting old place.

This is probably one of my favorites from the Austria Flickr Meetup, a huuuge thanks to gorgeous Lisa for modeling, I'm so glad I got to meet you <3
I found this dead butterfly at a butterfly farm during my roadtrip through England. I kept it all the time and when we explored this magical forest I suddenly knew it would be perfect for this :)
I hope you guys are having a great weekend! Thank you for everything <3
One tree in the midst of many others, broken by the recent gales.

A damsel in distress, maybe left ankle? My Flickr is broken too with no comments allowed by me :( I think MODE is keeping them busy and with tickets to attend up to $660 for VIPs I can see why I have low priority.
In the grass I see
a fairy's wing.
Dreaming like a child
I look to see.
a broken toy wing.
Washing it makes it shine
like new I see
So in the sun with ideas
goes the wing.
Out comes the camera
for pictures to see
The shine and shadows
of the toy wing.
A new life,
it had,
for but a moment
I cold see
The beauty that it gave,
this little broken wing.
Mirrored into a butterfly for all the world to see
Inverted, changed, and rearranged that tiny little wing
