Taken at the old coffee shop behind what used to be Hon Ming Textiles. The Hon Ming building was vacant in November, apparently the owner decided to lease it out rather than continue running the textiles business. Another KL icon gone. :(
Just fell on my hand (again!) and it's quite painful.
Now instead of spending a ridiculous two hours waiting at the OLVG ER to get a picture taken, I'm going to try this first: crowd sourced medicine. Leave your diagnosis in the comments below and we'll see what floats to the top.
Macro Mondays - "Broken"
This is a broken shell that I found amongst a whole load of old trinkets in a jewellery box. The shell has broken at both ends, I guess this happened whilst being jostled with the jewellery and other trinkets.
Postings to the Themed Alphabets group during the "broken letters" theme.

Broken coil from the front left spring. Probably the result of one pot hole too many. Not so bad considering it lasted 15 years. Just hope the eibachs that replaced them last at least as long.
I was enjoying vacation with my family in Gangtok. One morning I was walking with my family in M.G. Marg in Gangtok town. In the middle of the road there are divider area planted of flowers.I found this broken winged Butterfly in Hydrangea tree. I had my EF-S 18-55mm lens and I do not have time to change the lens(I was thinking about EF-S55-250mm). Closeups are more accurate with 55-250mm for me. :-) but that time I have to negotiate with EF-S 18-55mm and take this capture. The area was crowd; in my earlier capture if you see the place you will understand about crowd...it is a market place and people was gathering there in normal business hours. This capture is cropped from the original Photograph.

I just think of the story on my way to work today, and can't wait to draw it tonight, and Treeson seem drives me to say something for him :)

Take these broken things
And learn to see again, learn to shoot so free
When we hear the shutter ping
The memory card of stuff will open up and show what's in
Take these broken things
16 years ago, I used this in a trainning class at elementary school, then, it was broken.
Today, I still keep it, not totally abandoned, at least a good treat for an amateur photographer...
