This is what happens when you jam a tungsten wedding ring in a vice! It does not bend or deform like gold or silver, it just fractures. Here is a close up of the break.
This was a replacement ring to the first one I lost on the beach in the sand as I was agitating it for the kids to make it fluidize when it slipped off my finger and was no more. Even digging for it had no success. Was gone forever.

Please forgive all the somber uploads. They're old photos from a few weeks ago, and I was going through some things. I'm back to my normal happy self now and almost decided not to upload them, but whatever. It's how I was feeling at the time.

Wolf lichen (Letharia vulpina) grows on a broken snag in West Thumb Geyser Basin, Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming.
I bought 5 wooden giraffes from an old man few years back in Nairobi.
Unfortunately, a few of them got broken maybe during the trip and my nephew... :(
Although they are broken and I've not done a very good job to glue them back, I still love them very much!

Nymphaeaceae is the botanical name of the water lily family.
Water lilies are rooted in soil in bodies of water, with leaves and flowers floating on the water surface. The leaves are round, with a radial notch in Nymphaea and Nuphar, but fully circular in Victoria.
Water lilies were depicted by the French artist Claude Monet in a series of paintings.

This is a derelict building beside the Wolverhampton canal. It caught my eye because of the silver chimney stack that appears to be in pristine condition.
I had some adventure as well as peace and quiet while on holiday. Took a Pink Jeep Tour through the red rocks of Sedona. This is part of the trail we had just gone down. Fortunately, we stopped for a moment to watch the jeep behind us descend the rocky path. It was SO COOL!! Hubby, who hates heights or bouncing around, declined the tour and sat by the creek.
