My second brick commander build, and one of my earliest successes. Pieces that match, colors looking good, of course, I realize after the picture was took that his lower light laser is missing.. ah well.

Well today metró picked PostSecret. I figured I'm not that good at keeping secrets so here's my secret for The Rogue Players!
We have a secret group that we have that we use to trash talk all of you behind your back.
Also I have been having a secret conversation with NikkiFooFoo, and I think it's funny so I am gonna share it. It all started when we put in detention. Here are the mails that followed:

So anyway, we have all noticed the work that you have done and we really appreciate your TDS skillz! We thought that if we have a silly competition, and have people try really hard, nothing would be funnier (to us) than if you and every other Rogue submitted half-assed attempts at photos that our admins can come up with, and then choose wieners at the end.
Any thoughts?

A competition?! Hot damn! I'm in!
I would absolutely sit and text with you (wait... "txt w/u") all day and insight shenanigans this world has seldom seen, however, I do not have the day off and will likely be doing housewifey duties all the live long day. (boooo...) I also don't have YM, well, because I suck, really, and not having messengers means I don't have to talk to people I don't want to. BUT!! I think it would be fun to set up a Flick-off... why just the name alone gives me the shivers, so I'll be checking in here any time I can gnaw my arm off and run from the shackles scrape up spare time between mopping and scrubbing.
I'm glad I've been a help to the group.

Ugh.
ok here's what I was thinking, tell me what you would change or what you were thinking.
I am thinking that we could have four pictures. One from each admin, and all the members can try to mimic the picture, using the exact same, or artistically adapt, to do a version of the same picture. We could have it all in one thread, and see what people come up with. Not really to many rules, I don't want it to be to complicated. What do you think?

I would have been around more but turns out there's a sale at Gymboree that I couldn't miss so I spent a ridiculous amount of time elbowing other women in the face and fighting over shirts with daisies on them. My blood pressure is through the roof, but I did it.

And I just found out my parents are coming for a visit. Huzzah.
In regards to the contest, I think you're on the right track. The pictures, however, have to be really ridiculously hard or bizarre. We can't make it too easy, ya know.

PS. Seriously. You need to get a leash for that microwave. Do you know how dangerous it is to just let yours run wild? It could be hit by a car or bite someone else who is taking their microwave for a walk, or knock up some other stray microwave and then what? You'd be stuck with a litter of Easy-Bake Ovens.
You were totally right about my microwave. My neighbor just came to the door and introduced me to my bastard toaster.
I know these things. It's probably one of those mutant bagel toasters too, isn't it? The bright side is that toaster support is low, but you will be responsible for cleaning the crumb trap two weekends a month and every other Christmas.
yeah, but next month there is a bring your lid to work day.... He knows he's not tupperware, but he wants to go anyway...
I was never a big proponent of that holiday. How is someone supposed to get work done with lids running around the office?

My first LEGO convention; I had a great time meeting with everyone! I got some really good deals both at the convention and at the LEGO Store's promotion "Taming of the Bulls", I won a Combine Harvester as a door prize and I was awarded two Brickees, so I was quite lucky!

Driving around town the other day in pursuit of a couple of scavenger hunt items I happened to find a couple of interesting brick walls. This is a section of brick wall next to a door in an old church building. The style of the lantern seems very old fashioned.
All along upper Main Street of historic Clarkdale Arizona, decades of etchings and tiny graffiti decorate the vintage bricks: names, dates, romances, victories. Some are in pencil!
My latest project is to document the words while they are still there,
Displayed MOCs at Brick Fiesta 2013. All the MOCs were excellent, and there's a few that I didn't get pictures for; which is quite unfortunate.

I loved the brick work on this building in our town, Elyria, Ohio. I' m glad I took this photo because I didn't know but with in a week they tore it down.
