Ann P. waas clever enough to make notes and pin them to her sample braid; I used a notebook that one can refer back to, but think it would be wise to label my braids.
Another recipe from the Beard book. This is similar to Challah in that it is a little sweeter, is braided and contains eggs. The flavor was good on this but I wasn't all that pleased with the texture - I think the baking times (or our oven) is off.
This one confused me a bit. They want to make sure they get that cash before continuing to make you suffer through the long hours of boredom. The things we women will do to look pretty. (cell phone)

This is a really versatile item. It can be worn it as a necklace/drape (very 20's art deco), wrapped around as a headband, letting the tassels hang like braids, tucked in at the hips & draped across the bum for a belt accent…I'm sure there are more!

Dyed in the braid, so undoing the braid will reveal a different colour on the inside. Should be interesting for spinning.
The orange braid was dyed in a paleish green first, then yellow, orange and green were poured or sprinkled over the top. The orange MASSIVELY overtook the rest but it's actually quite deep in colour and still has green on the inside. Like a Canadian autumn :)
The teal & grey worked out as expected, so will be lightish teal throughout, with greys and darker teals over the top.
