Horse braiding. This had to take alot of time!

Seven strand crown sinnet braid.
I lost my rythym somewhere along this one, and the final result ended up a lot more uneven than I would have liked.

This type of bread comes from the Emmental region of Switzerland. The Swiss call it Züpfe and they are not only proud of their Züpfe, but insistent on what it should be called. Outside of the canton of Bern it's called Zopf, which means a braid. Züpfe is simply the Bernese word for Zopf.

After trying to put Valerie's hair in different styles, which, may I had, she was not happy about, we found something fitting. The straight hair in the front has now been braided, and she rather likes it.
May 09 - Braided fabric rug, tutorial from Moda Bake Shop. Used stash cotton (green) and less than half of a Moda Honey Bun.
