kennedy 260. 26" wide and 11 3/4" deep (approx the same depth as the snap on boxes on the left). This box/chest makes a nice edition to my well loved Snap On boxes.

box turtle; found him on a dog walk Oct.2017. Lost in backyard for 5 months, during winter (Nov.2019-March2020). Luckily the winter wasn't as cold as some have been, but because he didn't dig deep enough he lost most of his scutes (outer bone covering). But he seems healthy now despite the ordeal.
Letter box at the entrance to a magical garden in the Darmstadt Artists' Colony, part of a project Offene Gartenpforte (Open Garden Gate). Florida Box Turtle, Terrapene carolina bauri
This turtle was found in north Tampa. Most Florida Box turtles have more prominent radiating lines on the carapace, but there is a great deal of morphological variation in the Florida populations. The carapace design of this male is similar to the more northern subspecies, Terrapene carolina carolina, found over a hundred miles north of this location, from (roughly) the Florida/Georgia border northwards. But the neck stripe and the brown, rather than red, eyes are characteristic of T.c. bauri.

I picked up a brand new, boxed, SGI Origin 200 which was purchased to be used as a streaming server at an exhibition but was never used.
This was a common sight throughout Morocco and we initially thought it was a calendar (because the boxes numbered up to 28 which is the monthly lunar cycle used in Islamic countries to denote time), but it turns out they might be used during elections with the icons representing various political parties.
I've seen some things in the sky but tonight, of all things, an old fashioned Police Box, spinning and zooming through the air! Luckily I had my camera as who would ever believe me. Made a strange vworp vworp sound and then it was gone. Maybe it was some new sort of stealth bomber?? (For anyone curious and not heard of Dr. Who, this is actually a 9" model of the TARDIS (Time and Relative Dimension(s) in Space) which is a time machine and spacecraft in the BBC science fiction television programme Doctor Who. How do creative professionals who are paid to think outside the box express themselves? At Corey McPherson Nash, we do it inside the box—a shallow, glass-topped, wooden box, to be exact.
14 years ago we resuscitated the quaint craft of shadow-box making and turned it into a company ritual. The rules are simple: Don't go outside the box, and don't put anything living inside the box. But the object is ambitious: to provide a hands-on tutorial in Corey McPherson Nash's organizational culture. "Our basic operating principle is to define broad goals, supply a little structure, and then give people the freedom to do creative work."
With the shadow boxes, that principle has produced wildly diverse visions. Among the completed boxes: a vivid frightscape, complete with a crank for animating dancing-devil cutouts; a meditation on "what it could have been," featuring a loose marble and a list of design possibilities; and Tom Corey's own taxonomy of "bad seeds."
This is the lunch box I received in the MaSGo lunch box exchange. It is from Sharon (Lv2BrkGlas) and it is so dang beautiful I can hardly stand it!!

Pill box near St Martha on the Hill. There's a small hole in the bricked up doorway large enough to fit through, but the inside is covered with litter, so not a very nice experience!
If you'll remember my description about how terrified I was driving up to Logan's Pass on the Road to the Sun in Glacier National Park - I took this photo while white-knuckling it on the steering wheel. How could I have resisted? This sheep standing out on the very edges of the earth and eating cardboard for lunch. Love the way it is framed by the front end loader.

A further box visit back in October 2015 was Ulceby Signal Box.
Ulceby had evolved to cover quite a significant area compared with its original area. It had a reduced frame and an IFS panel. There was also room for a panel to cover Brocklesby but this never happened.
Sadly the box was demolished with undue haste following closure, before the local S&T even had time to recover equipment for spares, the box coming down with everything still in place.
