The 22nd December 2009 was the very last day of trading for Borders Bookshop in the UK. This is the Oxford Branch. The books that remained on sale were at 90% off.
However, it appears that many Publishers had put in a 'Legal Title' claim to prevent many books from being included in the Borders Liquidation sale after 17th December 2009 ~ publishers such as Harper Collins, Virago, Orion and others. The Legal Title claim meant for example that all Ian Rankin, Agatha Christie and works by many authors had to be removed from the shelves and not included in the sale. So quite simply by the last day what was on offer was really quite limited. It would also explain why the shelves so dramatically emptied.

I'm spending so much time trying to keep on top of the weeding etc, this year I forget to look at what is happening in it. Last evening I had a quick wander round before the light faded. It's worth the hard work I've decided
The very best agility breed there is, the Border Collie. Those dogs are a pleasure to watch as they give everything and are faster than one can imagine. I like the action in this picture!
This time f/5.6 was not enough to freeze this fast dog when it made a jump. But a upcoming Sigma 70-200 f/2.8 will put an end to that issue.

When we were approaching the Norwegian border, we were bid farewell in the most incredible fashions. The light was flooding through the clouds in a biblical manner right in front of the beautiful mountains.
