The Blacklion-Belcoo railway bridge lies in the Belcoo River viewed from the South. It was demolished by the Royal Ulster Constabulary (RUC) in 1976. It was built in 1879 on the Sligo, Leitrim and Northern Counties Railway line and was served locally by the Belcoo and Blacklion Station in Belcoo.

On 4 February, Prime Minister Xanana Gusmao inaugurated the first Integrated Border Post (IBP) at Batugade, Bobonaro District. President Ramos-Horta, Minister of Finance Pires, Minister for Tourism and Industry Alves, the Indonesian Ambassador to Timor-Leste, and UNMIT SRSG Haq and UN Police Commissioner Carrilho attended, amongst others. The facility supports the legitimate cross border movement of people and goods for tourism, commercial and community links. The IBP consists of several border control agencies, including immigration, customs, quarantine, border police, agriculture, foreign affairs and transport. Planting my Proteaceae border in my back yard is an ongoing project. 36 plants in the ground so far. The back stretch is almost complete and the garden will wrap around the upper west side of the property as well. Species/cultivar count so far: 1 Aulax, 5 Banksia, 2 Grevillea, 2 Hakea, 14 Leucadendron, 9 Leucospermum, and 3 Protea. Trying to space them as appropriately as possible allowing for maximum size but squeezed a few in here and there at times. Eventually succulents will be planted across the front of the border but I may hold off until all the Proteaceae are planted and I have started rethinking what types I am going to use.

My intention with this action is to highlight the beauty of culture and how nevertheless the difficulties Armenian culture remained very strong, so what remains of a flag is simply the real essence of culture, the sweetness of it. Flag belongs to politics and the real importance belongs to traditions and culture what people share and not what people struggles or fight for.
With this action I wanted to symbolically melt the borders away, leaving only the sweetness and the beauty of humanity, in this particular case, Armenia.
The shirt is what remains of the action which I intend to repeat in many other countries.

i am very pleased with the yarn and the finished object. i've worn it a couple of times already.
i got bored knitting it. the pattern is the same throughout, 'til the border.
IF i knit this again, someday, i will make it smaller. i prefer knitting shawl patterns that transition, like swallowtail.
