That's the summit there top left. Where I was standing had a sheer drop a matter of inches away, like the rock overhang in the photo, and which must have gone pretty much straight down a good few 100 metres. Not bad for someone like me who used to suffer from mild vertigo. My friend Bro. Henri has over the years managed to cure me of this.

Thus innocently began another garden project! From a simple brick border to keep feet out of the muck, it turned the pointy corner and became a full fledged brick paved pad to keep feet dry all around the new garden bench, and then of course the pine bark mulch would look funny without rearranging the plantings.....isn't it always thus when you garden?
