Few minutes before sunset, taking advantage of the sunlight reflections on the water there in the bokeh beyond the wintry grass.
“If there's something that you're dreaming of then may it all come true, because you deserve it all...HAPPY BIRTHDAY.”
Happy Birthday to our dear friend Lenareh! I bet he knows this type of orchid as he usually does with most flowers.
HBW!!
Photo taken at the Yuhico Orchid Garden, Catalunan Pequeño, Davao City, Philippines.
Yes, 'bokeh' is a real term in photography, and while that word has become overused and almost cringy, its visual effect and beauty is a lovely element in photography. The out-of-focus orbs of light give images a dreamy and pleasant look.
This is the first in a series of artistic images that I will be posting. All were created using the online editor picmonkey.com This one features Bubbles in Blue.
Have a great Thanksgiving weekend, everyone...

It was the end of Winter, and the end of a cool night. The sunset held a mellow and beautiful tone. The pond reflected calmly the beauty of the sky. The brittle subjects held still and in a single walk by snap, this photo was made. Never to be duplicated or sharpened with a refocus. That moment and that place and time are gone forever. Photography is art.
Taken at the bank of the River Neath near Briton Ferry. It is a very industial and derelict landscape but I always find it a fascinating place for photography. Beauty is all around us but sometimes you just have to look a bit harder! HBW
I was outside shooting my daisy image this morning and looked down the street to see the sun illuminating this fence. I ran down the street to capture the fence before the light changed. It's been a great morning.
Happy Fence Friday!
Macro Monday member's choice theme: Bokeh
Small bauble (3 cm / 1,18 inches in diameter) in front of two "bauble" (ball) chains, red and gold-coloured, star filter for that extra Xmas bling. Oh, and yes, reflective surface... that's my Christmas teacup on the left ;-) ...
Dear Flickr friends, I wish you a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and, if you don't celebrate, very relaxed, beautiful days between Christmas and New Year ;-)

Photography has been my passion for many years now and I really appreciate when other like-minded people take the time to look at my shots and even better when you drop a comment telling what you think or have constructive criticism on how you think I could do things differently. I enjoy watching other members photos and there are a lot of very talented photographers here to seek inspiration from!
