Another collaborative effort with my daughters' help. My younger daughter helped with the background and my older daughter gifted me these beautiful peppercorns.

I'm trying to get comfortable in working in color so expect more color intense images as I explore this area. I usually shy away from color as I find it challenging so how best to deal with it than in extremes?

I've been meaning to try this technique for ages. Unfortunately the shutter speed needs to be a bit higher, making the iphone picture look slightly blurry.

I love how this turned out. I used a texture in the background by Skeletal mess. The sparkly bokeh on the flower is straight out of the camera. I love it.

I have always like the photo´s ppl manage to get with the colorful bokeh of autumnal leaves in the background in shots like this, I ´m glad ivé now managed something similar ; )

Ever since we crawled out of that primordial slime, that's been our unifying cry, "More light." Sunlight. Torchlight. Candlelight. Neon, incandescent lights that banish the darkness from our caves to illuminate our roads, the insides of our refrigerators. Big floods for the night games at Soldier's Field. Little tiny flashlights for those books we read under the covers when we're supposed to be asleep. Light is more than watts and footcandles. Light is metaphor. Light is knowledge, light is life, light is light. ~Diane Frolov and Andrew Schneider

Although this image was taken in late spring last year, the bunny still lives in our garden. It may not be the same bunny that shows up every morning this week and leaves us little “gifts” in the garden. I wish it was chocolate! I know it is said that it is better to give than to receive. So today I left some fresh Kale stalks and a few leaves for the rabbit. I do enjoy seeing him/ her run free in the yard. The bokeh in this image somewhat resembles golden eggs spilling down. Happy Easter weekend!

I took this photo a year ago, but did not do anything with it up till now. In the post processing I wanted to give it a soft and vintage look. I think it worked out quite well.

Abstract bokeh background.

Money can not buy everything! For example, the joy of creating my own decorations for the Christmas tree. May you all have a Merry Christmas!

Happy Birthday to our dear friend Lenareh! I bet he knows this type of orchid as he usually does with most flowers.

Yes, 'bokeh' is a real term in photography, and while that word has become overused and almost cringy, its visual effect and beauty is a lovely element in photography. The out-of-focus orbs of light give images a dreamy and pleasant look.

This is the first in a series of artistic images that I will be posting. All were created using the online editor picmonkey.com This one features Bubbles in Blue.

Have a great Thanksgiving weekend, everyone...
