Another image from Saturday's Worldwide Photowalk in Lakeland, FL ...
Water splashing down the tri-level fountain at Munn Park in downtown Lakeland makes all kinds of interesting patterns.
Thank you all for hanging in with me, in spite of my inability to respond - you all are the best of Flickr. A little story to share that is emblematic of where we are as a country right now - yesterday a lady came in to interview for the job in my room. I guess she was maybe late 40's or early 50's and I asked her about her background. She replied education, so of course I asked what level. I almost keeled over at her reply - she has just finished getting her Master's, took out a second mortgage on their home to pay for it and now there is no work. She is reduced to looking for work in day care. Yikes. I do this, even tho I have a degree in biology, for many reasons, but to be faced with that?? How awful and how very discouraging. Poor lady. And of course, she is now facing that dilemma - will anyone hire her because she is so over-qualified and they fear she will leave as soon as something better comes along. Probably not while she is desperate. How sad ....
Happy Bokeh Wednesday to all - I will be happy to see this week end as it has been busier than I ever dreamed!! :-(
HBW!!
All hail Target who actually had all 3 complete school lists in stock. You have no idea how that simple thing has put me on cloud 9 for the last 4 days :D
Tấm sau mình sẽ ghép 3 tấm SaiGon by day, by noon và by night=))) Không có by midnight đc=))))
I'm officially a Võ Thị Sáu - er xD
Usually those bokeh pictures are filled with light, but I tried to keep it a bit more mysterious this time...
Rear view mirror.
I'm always trying to only look forward and not look back. But I have broken my own rule and taken a look in the rear view mirror...
Last year I thought that the year 2011 was a tough year for me. Yes, I have been working too much and a lot of my goals, hopes and wishes have not come true.
But I have had the opportunity to be with a fantastic and highly inspiring person that besides of sharing many happy moments with, helped me to realize many new things about my self. And I have a lovely family and lots of really great new and old friends that I have been having a good time with.
And now, as I look in the rear view mirror, I can only see the happy, wonderful moments of last year. I would say that all of you around me made the year 2011 to the best year in my life! Thank you!!!!!

WARNING. I will be uploading many swim team photos this week. I can't help it. Please do not feel the need to comment or even look at them.
Also. I have better photos of that bumblebee. But, I like this one because of the background.
I didn't realize right away but when I went home to view the pictures, I notice that a tiny spider was hiding behind one of those lights. If you zoom in you can see part of its legs and a little bit of web.
Thanks for your amazing comments my friends!
I hope that you enjoy the photo my friends!
Thanks so much for all of your support!!!!
