I recovered from my panic attack brought on by the realization that I didn't have enough of the orange swirls left over. After that, this block was a complete joy. I mean really, if pinwheels don't make you smile, then you must not have lips! I think this is my favorite block so far. I remembered what Elizabeth told us about rotating directional prints, which is what I did here. Love it! Thanks for the great tutorial, Cherri!

Block ice used to be easy to find, but now I can't find anywhere near me where to buy block ice. I started making it in my freezer at home using molds.

I turned an orphan block into a block keeper/stitching book so that I can keep all the pieces for one block safe. And arranged in the right order/place! It's about 13"x15".

Tough getting those seams to line up! Did ok. But it measures 12.75 x 12.8-bigger than its supposed to and block 1 is 12.3 x 12.25 so its a little smaller. It'll be fun when I put them all together.
The keepers- the hole in the middle looks funny! it's been a journey and I've definitely been along for the ride. Can't wait to see what is next.
