I hit the jackpot when I went thrifting last night. I saw a bag o' cloth that seemed to have some decent scraps and what appeared to be pre-printed embroidery quilt blocks in it. It was $3.65 so I was a little hesitant - it was by far the most expensive thing I was considering. But I got it. And I was so glad I did.
In it were FIVE sets of quilts blocks, 12 blocks each, two for baby quilts and three for more adult type quilts. And a huge amount of scrap fabric.
This is one of the baby quilts with lots of bunnies engaged in fun activities. My favorite is the bunny playing the banjo!

Gray, pink, and white for Amandaswain.
I hope you don't mind that I had to add a little of me in all of them with a fun focal print.

Daft Block, SLC, UT
Sarah Daft was a successful businesswoman at the end of the 19th century. Widowed in 1881, she invested her inheritance in mining and real estate and made a sizable fortune.
Daft block was designed by Harrison and Nicholas in 1889.
One of the blocks got lost in the mail, so we gathered together more squares and I seamed up one final block to make the afghan.

I didn't think I was having a hard time with this one until the instructions said to "trim to 4 1/2" " and my corner pieces were barely over 4" to start! Not sure where I went wrong, but the end product turned out great (though it is slightly smaller than the other blocks) but I am thinking (hoping?) that you won't notice in the overall quilt.
I liked that this one used large pieces of four different fabrics, because I think it will help tie the other blocks together. (I feel like my basket block (#3) belongs in a different quilt with the fabrics I used for it!)
