DIRTY TOGETHER

I wait my turn at the single blinking red light in Gold Haven, Kentucky, and turn left before pulling into the gas station. This is the first place I ever pumped gas in my life. It was a lot cheaper then too. My Pontiac isn’t a whole lot nicer than the 1988 Fiero I drove back then, but in this town, it doesn’t stand out, and that’s exactly what I need. I tug on a trucker hat and slip on sunglasses before opening the door and climbing out.

The old pumps I expected, the ones where the numbers click over as you fill up, have been replaced with newer models.

Even better. It lowers the chance that someone will recognize me if I can avoid all human interaction.

I swipe my card, get my gas, and twist the gas cap back on. When I get back to Nashville, I’m finally going to look into replacing this car. I rarely splurge on anything.

Even though I won a “million-dollar recording contract” on Country Dreams, the amount I saw was laughable. Albums? They’re expensive as hell to produce. And as far as the pay I get per show when I’m on tour, after all the expenses are covered? It’s also nothing to write home about. But as my share of the ticket sales goes up and I build my fan base, that will eventually change.

But for now, I’m saving every penny I can and getting by on the bare minimum because I don’t know when the bottom will fall out.

Not much has changed about that since I married billionaire Creighton Karas. Thoughts of my husband spiral through me, followed by equal jabs of guilt and regret. I can’t believe I did it again. This morning I just up and walked out.

I don’t know what I was thinking beyond . . . if I didn’t get out of that penthouse at that very moment, I felt like something inside me was going to break. I had to get out of that...

Yes, the every fabulous Kirsten is I part owner of a Distillery in Santa Ana, CA. Blinking Owl Distillery has wonder spirits of all kinds. Very Yummy. I couldn’t resist buy the auction of the three different types she put up for auction. Can’t wait to try them out. Check out the Distillery and take a tour at blinkingowldistillery.com/

After "blinking" by dipping its eyes underwater, the Pug-headed Mudskipper (Periophthalmodon freycineti) seems alert and attentive to its surroundings. On certain legs of our Queensland excursion, we found ourselves similarly refreshed after a rare shower or a quick dip in a river. If you look closely, you will see a mosquito sitting on the mudskipper's nose. The lighthouse was built on the north shore of the entrance to Belfast Lough in 1901, opposite its twin across the Lough at Mew Island. These two were important in protecting commercial shipping when steam replaced sail in the mid 19th Century, and would have guided all of the great ships of Belfast's shipbuilding glory days, including the ill fated Titanic.

My one year old baby loves playing with this golf toy which is a gift from my sister-in-law. I guess toys like these are a good way to introduce your toddler to golf. My hb loves to play golf and is just waiting for the baby to grow a bit so he can bring him to the golf course and teach our son his favorite sport! :)

here's chris matthews blinking at the top of O'HARDBALL!!!! i don't know why it's so damn funny, but it is.

Fantastic little "compatible with all major brands" (MEGA BLOCK, LEGO, etc.) bricks I got @ the dollar store. Yay! 😁👏

From the day we arrive on the planet

And blinking, step into the sun

Theres more to be seen than can ever be seen

More to do than can ever be done

Some say eat or be eaten

Some say live and let live

But all are agreed as they join the stampede

You should never take more than you give

In the circle of life

Its the wheel of fortune

Its the leap of faith

Its the band of hope

Till we find our place

On the path unwinding

In the circle, the circle of life

Some of us fall by the wayside

And some of us soar to the stars

And some of us sail through our troubles

And some have to live with the scars

Theres far too much to take in here

More to find than can ever be found

But the sun rolling high through the sapphire sky

Keeps great and small on the endless round

I'm not overly in love with this picture...all the children were wondering why Miss Sarah kept putting the camera in random places around the room, why there was a red blinking light, why I would come and stand next to them or sit next to them and say "don't move!" Hahaha they must have thought Miss Sarah came back from Christmas vacation as a weirdo.

I somehow forgot how much I adore this job. There is absolutely NOTHING as rewarding as coming in at 3:00, walking thru the gate outside to 30 two and three year olds (or four year olds, depending on which building I'm working in that day) running at me, tackling me, yelling, "MISS SARAH!!" sitting on me, hugging me, and telling me about their day.

Today, my favorite 2 year old, Courtney, told me that she got a baby doll bed for Christmas. I said "Oh, did you get a baby doll, too?" And she said that she had it already. I asked the baby doll's name.

She said her baby's name is Sarah :0))))))) I said, "Courtney, did you name your baby before or after you knew me?" (I've been working at this preschool since August) and she smiled perfectly while giving me a big hug and said "After!" Well, of course, I went on and on the rest of the day about how happy I was that she named her baby doll after me.

There are tons of other aides that work at the preschool, tons of teachers and what not. And Court likes me the best :0) Oh my gosh. I can't even tell you how much that made my day.

I always think about how I adore so many of these little kids and how they most likely will never remember me....Well, I remember my baby doll when I was 2. Her name was Katie :0) Cuz my mom named her cuz my dad didn't want to name me Katie, so we named my baby doll that.

(I can almost see myself as a 'Katie', can you?)

I'm uploading this a tad late, because I got locked out of my house last night.

I had my first day of classes. And it was really exciting :0) Which I never thought I would say. But I have classes with old friends and it looks like I'm going to make some potentially really good ones.

More later :0)

The Gateshead Millennium Bridge is a pedestrian and cyclist tilt bridge spanning the River Tyne

The award-winning structure was conceived and designed by architects Wilkinson Eyre and structural engineers Gifford. It was built by Volker Stevin in 2000.

The bridge is sometimes referred to as the Blinking Eye Bridge due to its shape and its tilting method.

This tilting arrangement allows ships up to 82ft in height to pass under. The bridge takes as little as 4.5 minutes to rotate through the full 40° from closed to open, depending on wind speed!

At ten minutes til the hour, the thousands of small blinking lights turn on all over the Eiffel Tower. This is the view from our bench where we ate dinner. It was a pretty awesome view.

We are aboard the coach back to London.

It starts with a rather wild ride - the coach bounces and rocks as the convoy of 4 coaches juggernaut their way down narrow single track roads pushing traffic into the verges. Trees and bushes brush down the side and top of the coaches. The driver appears to want to keep the convoy whatever happens. Much to my surprise this carries right into London, and then we get lost around Canary Whaff with the 4 coaches at one point going around the same 4 streets... but eventually we are back on track and taking the tourist route over Tower Bridge.

Seems like Sanders of North Norfolk don't venture far from North Norfolk.

We have ridden the Dunwich Dynamo - a challenging free-entry overnight 120 mile bicycle ride on-tarmac from London Fields in Hackney, London to the Suffolk beach at Dunwich. We will return to London via the organised coach/trucking. My riding partner is my brother-in-law.

It’s not a race. It’s unsupported. There’s no van following. It’s a long way. It starts at around 20:00 tonight. It's quite an adventure.

A glorious sunny Saturday to start our weekend in the North East, starting with a visit to the area around the bridges across the Tyne
